The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss and host of The Bravos, Andy Cohen, will always have an Andy-and-Kandi friendship.
At Sunday’s award ceremony at BravoCon 2025, the host of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen put their years-long friendship before the world when Kandi received the Wifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony’s conclusion. As Andy proudly announced during the BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen episode, “This is only the second time in Bravo history that we’ve honored someone with this title, and I can’t think of a more deserving person to be our next recipient than Kandi Burruss.”
Kandi’s 14 seasons with RHOA helped her earn the illustrious award and share her gratitude with those tuning in, but not before shedding a little light on her and Andy’s special friendship. “And Andy, it means so much that our relationship is bigger than the show,” said a tearful Kandi. “Our random texts and check-ins mean a lot to me now, more than ever.”

When presenting the award, later with the help of RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey and Kandi’s daughter, Riley Burruss, Andy detailed Kandi’s legacy on the peach-holding series with a reference to her RHOA Season 5 tagline.

“Kandi joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 2, all the way back in 2009,” Andy remarked. “And she may be small —ohhh — but her impact on Bravo has been incredibly large.”
Cynthia also had nothing but praise for her fellow Housewife. “Where do I start? Kandi has always been very giving,” she told the audience. “She actually threw me a bachelorette party that I will never forget, and I know none of you will ever forget Bolo, either. I am so proud of her, and all of her accomplishments, including this one.”
Cynthia then motioned to Riley, there to help present her mother with the Wifetime award. Said Riley, “Tonight, we are honoring a Tony-nominated Broadway producer, restaurateur, actor, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, and best of all, her biggest achievement, being my mom.”

During her acceptance speech, the proud mom doted on her eldest, now a cast member of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC. “I thought I was gonna be gone from the Bravoverse, but then the torch passed to my daughter, Riley,” Kandi said. “You took the torch, lit it on fire, and brought that Burruss heat to a whole new franchise. And I’m here for it.”
