There are some things that Todd Bradley wishes Bronwyn Newport would keep private — including the details of their sexual relationship that she divulged to her castmates on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
On the heels of an off-camera argument about new cheating allegations that led Bronwyn to remove her wedding ring (more on that below), she and Todd sat down for a candid conversation to hash things out during Season 6, Episode 10. Eventually, Bronwyn brought up that there would be “no weirdness or shame around figuring out” how they might take a new approach to “what works in [their] sex life.” Â
Though Todd deemed his wife’s perspective as “understandable,” he balked when she revealed that she’d already shared intimate relationship details with Whitney Rose.Â
“It’s nobody’s business,” Todd shot back. “I don’t know why anything related to me can’t be left in this house. Why does it have to be shared with a group of untrustworthy friends?”

After replying that she didn’t know “what to say about that,” Bronwyn opened up more to a producer: “I value my closeness with Todd, but it’s not fair to say that I’m only allowed to have deep conversations with him. I confided in friends, and I should be able to do that. This is so frustrating.”
As she told her husband directly, “I’m trying to make it better. You are the most important relationship to me, but there is also something important about these other relationships, too, right now.”
Inside Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley’s relationship discussion on RHOSLC
Bronwyn had previously opened up to Whitney about asking Todd to leave their marital home after a Twitter user “caught him looking at photos of women on his phone” during a recent flight.
As Bronwyn updated viewers in a confessional from RHOSLC‘s Nov. 18 episode, “After I asked Todd for some space, he was reaching out, telling me he misses me, he’s thinking about me. I’m not interested in him just coming home and acting like, you know, nothing’s happened here. Like, I cannot play happy Fisher-Price family.”
That set the stage for their sit-down, which began with both acknowledging that they’d been “really upset” in the aftermath of the Twitter accusations surfacing. As Bronwyn put it to Todd, “The bottom line here is I end up feeling not good enough.”

“In the past, Todd kept something from me that made me question how important I was to him,” she elaborated in a producer interview. “You start to spiral and think, ‘I’m not pretty enough. I’m not funny enough. I’m not sexy enough.’ …Â And this is not him violating my trust, but it does stir all that back up again.”
Back at their Salt Lake City home, however, Bronwyn assured Todd, “I am as in with you as I can be. I love you as much as I possibly can.”
She continued, “I’m as open to whatever would make you happy that is possible for me to do. If you wanted to do something different or have an arrangement or be open or whatever else, I would consider it. I would do whatever I needed to do to evolve with you.”
Todd’s response? “You and I have been together for 11 years — through lots of ups and downs, through lots of turmoil, challenges, personally, professionally, health-wise. And the only consistent thing is we’ve always been able to talk through it.”
“And this was a time we didn’t talk through it. We both came in pretty hot,” he added. “I can always admit when I’m wrong, and I was wrong. But I’m very happy being with you and the relationship we have. … What matters is that we talked about it, we resolved it, and we’re moving forward.”
Why Bronwyn Newport stopped wearing her wedding ring on RHOSLC
Earlier in the episode, Whitney clocked that Bronwyn was not wearing her wedding ring during a surprise get-together to support Britani Bateman amid fallout from drama on the flight back from their yachting getaway with the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 crew.
After recapping the aforementioned Twitter rumors about Todd for her stunned castmates, Bronwyn explained, “Instead of just saying, ‘It’s not a big deal. Here’s what happened; I’m an idiot,’ he, like, was really defensive. And I was exhausted. … I was done, and I was like, ‘You gots to go.'”
Heather Gay, meanwhile, asked Bronwyn, “So, do you want time, or are you done?” to which she replied that she hadn’t spoken to Todd “for a few days.”
“What embarrasses me is the humiliation and secrecy around it,” she shared with the group. “Things have to change. It’s not a marriage-ending conversation, but it is a life-changing conversation for me, to be able to say, ‘This isn’t working, and I want a different thing.’
Bronwyn concluded, “Todd and I don’t have an arrangement of any kind, but if Todd wanted one or I wanted one, I think we’re both adults and we’d talk about it.”
