Southern Charm’s Craig Conover has new details for those wanting to know about his brief romance with Natalie Buffett following his split from Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo.
The Sewing Down South founder and entrepreneur gets down to brass tacks during a face-to-face convo with Madison LeCroy, as seen in the above first look preview for the Season 11 premiere. After Paige decided to walk away from their three-year relationship, Craig confesses to jumping headfirst into a romance with the online influencer, stating they’d met back in 2019 during a trip to The Bahamas, only to reconnect some time later.
“It was just [that] she made me feel whole again, and it’s unfair to her,” Craig tells Madison. “But then, once I felt whole again, I was like, ‘Oh, I have more healing [to do].”
Citing reports that Paige had allegedly moved on with someone else, Craig admits he “didn’t know what to do.” Madison, for her part, wonders if Craig knows how to be single.
“I was just lonely, and I didn’t know how to be by myself,” Craig admits. “And I think that’s why I rushed into the first person I talked to. Like, I didn’t talk to anyone else. It was just her.”
Madison suggests he date around, and both agree he should take things slow. Later, Craig jokes in a confessional that some might argue people have “three true loves” during their lifetime, and that he’s already had two between his ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo and Paige.
Who is Natalie Buffett?
Natalie Buffett is a social media influencer who has dated NFL quarterback Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, as well as MLB pitcher Jack Flaherty, according to Us Weekly.
Craig previously hinted at their relationship on the March 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, stating, “I’m very happy.”
He didn’t identify Natalie by name, but he did say, “You know, when I date, I tend to date only one person at a time. So, I’ve been seeing someone … I’ve been reminded the universe works in crazy ways, but everything happens for a reason.”
On the June 25 episode of The Toast podcast, Craig announced he was single once again.
“I was seeing a really nice girl — she will be someone’s perfect person. I just wasn’t ready to date,” he said. “She’s just a wonderful person, but I really was like, ‘I have some healing to do. I have to go find myself again.’”
