The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice has never shied away from gushing over her eldest of four daughters, Next Gen NYC’s Gia Giudice, and she’s not about to stop now that Gia has marked yet another major milestone. That being said, proud pop, Joe Giudice, is also gushing about their kid.
The Garden State mom was proud of her daughter at the Nov. 20 viewing party for the Season 4 finale of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, the action-packed, military-style series in which mom and daughter (and other Bravolebs) participated. Gia was one of only two left standing in the competition series, per Entertainment Weekly, and her mom couldn’t wait to share at length how proud she was in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Watching you become one of only two people to complete the Special Forces course has been one of the proudest moments of my life,” Teresa said, in part. “Your strength, determination, grit, and grace carried you through every challenge they put in front of you. You showed the world what I’ve always known, you are powerful, you are resilient, and when you set your mind to something, nothing can stop you.”
Meanwhile, Gia’s dad and Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice — who lives in the Bahamas — sent his love from afar by sharing clips from the party on Instagram. Joe’s mom, Filomena, held onto Gia for part of the event. Joe’s Instagrams also feature her uncle, Joe Gorga, in attendance to celebrate his niece. “Watching you win on Special Forces has been one of the proudest moments of my life,” Joe Giudice wrote. “You’ve grown into an incredible woman — courageous, disciplined, and full of heart. Your strength inspires me every day. Congrats, Gia. Keep shining!”
Teresa further touched on Gia’s unceasing positivity and focus, adding on Instagram, “I’m inspired by you every single day.”
She also added a party snap onto her Instagram Stories, capturing Gia’s fellow Next Gen NYC-ers, including Brooks Marks and Georgia McCann, as they celebrated Gia. Ava Dash shared a photo from the party, too.

The Giudices and the Gorgas reunite at BravoCon 2025
Gia’s victory is just the latest matter worth celebrating for Teresa’s family after she and Joe Gorga — and their respective families — finally mended fences, as seen at BravoCon 2025. The event brought together Teresa and her current husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, with Joe and Melissa Gorga, as well as Gia.

At BravoCon, Joe Gorga, referring to Teresa and his nieces Gia, Gabriella Giudice, Milania Giudice, and Audriana Giudice, said, “I want her in my life. I want my nieces in my life. We need to be together. We met, and it was really sentimental, and it was nice.”
Teresa wanted the same after years of estrangement from her brother’s kids, Antonia Gorga, Gino Gorga, and Joey Gorga Jr. As she explained, “I want him in my life. I want his wife in my life, my sister-in-law, my niece, and nephews in my life. Like, that’s the most important thing. Like, I want the kids to hang out. But when it’s toxic between the parents, the kids don’t want to hang out.”
Joe Gorga later shared a heart-melting photo of himself and Gia’s weekend reunion, to which Gia jumped in the comments to say, “Love you beyond happy to have you back in my life.”
