Lindsay Hubbard proved that time is one of the best cures for heartbreak.
More than two years after her split from Carl Radke, the Summer House cast member offered new insight into their dynamic today. The former couple reunited in the November 19 BravoCon Live episode during BravoCon 2025, where Lindsay was asked to reveal the “one thing” she missed about her romance with Carl.

The mother of one immediately closed her eyes and began to look down, as Carl sat just a few feet away.
“Say nothing. It’s fine,” he joked.
Lindsay then picked up her head and asked the audience for a few moments.
“Hold on, I want to give a very thoughtful response,” she said. “Um… our friendship.”
The crowd broke out into applause and let out a collective, “Awwww.”

Lindsay and Carl met during Summer House Season 1 and went on to have multiple flings throughout the following years. In early 2022, the pair publicly confirmed they were officially back together; however, this time, things seemed much more serious.
“I’m happy to report, we are dating and things are really good,” Carl told Us Weekly at the time. “We’re very happy. She’s someone that’s been an incredible support and part of my life [for years].”

Lindsay and Carl were living together in New York City by June 2022 and were engaged by the end of that summer. Although Lindsay referred to Carl as her “life partner,” the ex-couple had a relatively rocky engagement. Their relationship issues were explored in Summer House Season 8, which concluded with Carl calling off their wedding. Lindsay dropped the shocking news in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life,” she wrote. “My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all – with no answers or closure on why. I feel humiliated by how it went down, and simultaneously heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult for me.”

Since then, the former couple has experienced major life changes. In December 2024, Lindsay and her ex-boyfriend, Turner Kufe, welcomed their first child — a daughter named Gemma Kufe. Carl also fulfilled his longtime goal of opening Soft Bar + Cafe, a non-alcoholic establishment based in Brooklyn. The two touched on their new chapters during a BravoCon red carpet interview with Parade magazine, when Lindsay revealed how she and Carl were repairing their friendship.
“We laughed more at each other’s jokes this summer,” she told the outlet. “We had a conversation. But it was a really good conversation. I think you guys will be happy about it.”
Lindsay was then asked if she had visited Carl’s Soft Bar, which officially opened back in September.
“Yes!” she said. “I’ve always told Carl, ‘I will support anything that you do, if you actually do it. If you stop talking about it and you actually do it, I’ll actually support it.’ And so that happened, and so I’m a woman of my word.”
Carl then stepped into the frame to offer Lindsay a few words of support: “Lindsay Hubbard is a woman of her word,” he told the camera.
“Look how far we’ve come,” Lindsay said with a laugh. “Last BravoCon (2023) I was like, ‘Ahhh!’ This BravoCon, it’s like, ‘Hello.’”
