As The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Gizelle Bryant marked a major milestone for her Reasonably Shady podcast, there was one key person missing from the celebration: co-host Robyn Dixon.
Gizelle had excitedly announced during Season 10, Episode 8, that her and Robyn’s podcast had officially racked up 10 million downloads, while also touting their “accolades,” including an NAACP Image Awards nomination and a spot among the Black Effect networks’ top titles.
As Gizelle put it to a RHOP producer, “So, we should be celebrating.”
While touring the party space with 21-year-old daughter Grace Bryant and event planner Brandt Ricca later on, Gizelle broke the bad news.
“So, I’m going to be giving a toast. Robyn will not be coming,” she told the pair, adding that she had just “found that out today.”

In a confessional, Gizelle shed some more light on the reason for Robyn’s absence from the bash.
“Listen, the honesty of it all is Robyn doesn’t want to come because she feels a certain way about how she left the show,” Gizelle explained, referencing Robyn’s RHOP departure after Season 8. “And I have to respect that. But it’s not a good look and it’s not a good feel. I don’t feel good about it.”
During her speech at the Reasonably Shady 10 million downloads party, Gizelle was less forthcoming, however.
After explaining how she and Robyn had decided to launch the podcast out of boredom during the pandemic, she vaguely announced to the crowd, “Robyn is not here. Something came up. So sorry.”
How the RHOP cast reacted to Robyn Dixon’s absence from the Reasonably Shady party
Several of Gizelle’s RHOP castmates, who were among the partygoers, were stunned that her fellow “green-eyed bandit” had decided to skip the celebration.
“This makes no sense,” Wendy Osefo, for one, declared in a confessional. “Like, don’t have us thinking we’re coming to see The Supremes, and we’re just seeing Diana Ross. Like, Gizelle, where’s the rest of the group? Where’s your backup dancer? Where’s Robyn? … Is she on the couch?”
As Jassi Rideaux similarly weighed in, “Girl, get up off the couch and come support your friend.”
Ashley Darby, meanwhile, was also puzzled both by Robyn’s absence and Gizelle’s seemingly nonchalant reaction to the news.
“I will never understand,” Ashley elaborated to a producer. “She puts on a brave face, and that’s something Gizelle Bryant will always do. But I know, deep down, she wants her homegirl there to celebrate in this monumental occasion.”
Details on what Robyn Dixon is doing now
After Robyn announced she was leaving RHOP on her podcast back in April 2024, she has continued to keep fans updated on her family life with husband Juan Dixon and their two sons, Corey and Carter Dixon, as well as all her latest career news.
In September 2025, for example, Robyn shared on Instagram that she was focused on her Embellished fashion line. “Still selling satin-lined baseball hats from my couch,” she captioned the post in which she was modeling one of her own microsuede caps. “I love it here!!!”
Meanwhile, Robyn is also still running her skincare studio, GLO30, as a franchise owner of the business’ Columbia, Maryland, location.

“I would love to expand to multiple locations, more locations, but right now, we’re working on just growing organically and scaling the business,” she revealed in an early 2025 interview with The Daily Dish. “But I am an entrepreneur at heart, and so, for me, this is really just the beginning.”
On the homefront, Robyn and Juan have also stayed busy keeping up with all of their sons’ basketball games and other extracurricular activities.
“My son’s basketball season takes us through July, even, like, Spring Break,” she added. “So, it’s like a sad life, because the kids’ lives run our schedules, and we have to be at all of their games.”
