Brooks Marks is ending 2025 on an exciting note.
While chatting with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, the Next Gen NYC cast member offered a quick update on his fashion career. Brooks confirmed he was expanding his eponymous brand with a pre-seasonal travel range that was teased earlier this year.
“Yeah, I’m really excited,” he said on the red carpet. “I have a new launch for my brand. It’s my resort collection [releasing] on December 12. It’s a terry [cotton] light fabric that viewers have seen me working on [in Next Gen NYC] Season 1… It’s finally coming all to fruition. I can’t wait.”

Brooks didn’t reveal what kind of designs he and his team had in store, but his mom, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Meredith Marks, reassured fans they wouldn’t be disappointed.
“Brooks is launching his collection,” Meredith told The Daily Dish back in October. “I have seen the samples. It looks amazing. I am very, very excited. I can’t wait to get my first pieces.”

Meredith has proven to be one of Brooks’ biggest cheerleaders, especially when it came to his fashion endeavors. In fact, she was so confident in her son’s skills that she appointed him the creative director of Meredith Marks Enterprises, a luxury lifestyle brand that sells everything from jewelry and caviar to apparel and bath bombs.

Meredith Marks “fired” Brooks Marks from her company
Viewers received insight into Brooks’ high-ranking role in Next Gen NYC Season 1, when he described his and Meredith’s business relationship as “tumultuous.”
“I don’t know why you say that,” Meredith responded. “I think our work relationship is very healthy.”
“Are you kidding? You fired me last week,” Brooks shot back.
Although Meredith insisted she “didn’t really fire” her son, the NYU alum cited a text exchange in which Meredith told him to “find a new job” after he dropped the ball on a business-related matter.
“You said, ‘I’m fuming over this,'” he told Meredith while reading the messages. “‘My entire denims will not be here in time now for the summer season because of how you’ve handled this. This is a total disregard. … I love you, and I want to make this work, but this frustration isn’t worth it.'”
Brooks suggested he would no longer work for his mom because it was “decimating” their relationship.
“That text message was warranted, but it wasn’t appropriate,” he explained in a confessional. “So, it was triggering because it’s like not only did my employee fail me, but my son failed me. It’s like stabbing somebody and then twisting the knife, basically.”

But Brooks’ firing was short-lived, as she has since returned to his mom’s company. This was revealed during the BravoCon panel Thank U, Next Gen, when Meredith participated in the audience Q&A segment.
“My question is for Brooks,” she began. “I’m just wondering what happened with the dynamic of you and your mother when you said that you didn’t want to work for her anymore. And would you like to start working with her again?”
“I can’t stay away from Meredith Marks Enterprises,” Brooks responded. “I did come right back… Just with a more minimal role.”
