Source Disputes LAPD, Insists California Teen Was ‘Partially Frozen’ – Crime Online

A source is backing up their claims that California girl Celeste Rivas had been partially frozen, according to TMZ.

The outlet also reports that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reportedly said that the “decedent was not live scanned due to waterlogged fingers.”

On Monday, however, the medical examiner’s office placed a security hold on the case, following a court order Friday, initiated by LAPD.

“No records or details associated with the case, including the cause and manner of death and Medical Examiner report, can be released or posted on the website until further notice,” the medical examiner said.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Los Angeles police found Celeste’s body on September 8, inside the Tesla registered to singer D4vd (David Anthony Burke). The vehicle had initially been parked near Burke’s home, in the flourishing Bird Streets neighborhood, in Hollywood Hills.

Police found the vehicle at a tow yard in Hollywood after residents in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood contacted police about an abandoned car with a Texas license plate on September 6.

The vehicle had been at the lot for several days before LAPD officers made the discovery. LAPD said Celeste’s dismembered body had been put in a bag and left in the front trunk.

The source’s claim came before LAPD captain Scot Williams told People Magazine that Celeste had not been decapitated or frozen.

“Celeste’s body was not frozen,” he said. “She was not decapitated. The whole frozen thing doesn’t even make sense.  Her body was in the car for weeks.”

Meanwhile, Burke, who is now considered a suspect in the case, has reportedly been uncooperative. A second suspect is also being investigated.

No criminal charges have been filed at this time.
