Pregnant Michigan Woman, Missing for 3 Weeks, Reportedly Found Dead Near Where She Was Last Seen – Crime Online

A pregnant Michigan woman, who had been missing for three weeks, was reportedly found dead Tuesday by a search team looking for her.

Rebecca Park’s body was found near the home of her mother in Boon Township, WWTV reported, which said Park’s father claimed to have found the body.

According to WPBN, however, another person claimed to have found the body. Search crews were out on Tuesday looking, and it is possible that the two were with the same team.

The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, meanwhile, confirmed only that a body had been found in the Manistee National Forest but did not the identity of the body, Cadillac News reported. The sheriff’s office said more information would be released when the body was positively identified and next of kin are notified.

Park, 22, was last seen getting into the passenger side of a sedan near the mother’s home on November 3. She had told someone she was being picked up, but the witness did not recognize the driver, as CrimeOnline reported. Park’s cell phone was found on the road nearby.

Park was 38 weeks pregnant when she disappeared, and police said she was considered possibly endangered.

The sheriff’s office also said that it had not found any blooding clothing or other items, despite social media claims saying they had, Cadillac News said. They further claimed that misinformation shared online had hindered the investigation, prompting them to limit information provided.

This is a developing story. Check back for details.
