The host of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen had some “hard-hitting” but hilarious questions for his friends at NBC, but not without a glimpse into his dating life, begging the question: Is Andy Cohen in a relationship?
He had former TODAY host Hoda Kotb in stitches on the Nov. 25 episode of TODAY with Jenna and Friends after Hoda — a surprise guest — mentioned “hosting parties” in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. She couldn’t contain her laughter once Andy inquired about her “hosting gentleman callers.”
Andy then referred to Hoda’s 6-year-old daughter Hope, joking, “‘Are there gentleman callers? Knock-knock, Uncle Tony’s here! Hope, go make Uncle Tony that drink he likes, extra olives.’”
The laugh-out-loud banter — which comes nearly four years after Hoda’s breakup from ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman, as reported by E! News — led to Hoda questioning Andy about his own dating life as a dad to Benjamin Allen Cohen, 6, and Lucy Eve Cohen, 3.

“You know what, I haven’t dated that much with kids, it’s hard,” Andy admitted before directing his attention back to Hoda. “But, you find a way. You start rolling up in guys’ DMs, come on.”
The show’s host, Jenna Bush Hager, added, “[Andy] says it’s the best way to meet people,” to which Andy replied, “Absolutely, why not?”
Andy Cohen on how his dating life has “changed” over time
Andy’s recent statements certainly aren’t the first time he’s discussed his dating life as a single dad. On the Oct. 29 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, he confessed, “I’m on every app,” sharing details about his dating life as a high-profile figure.

“You know, it’s interesting,” Andy said. “Some people are too cool for school, and they’ll say nothing. Some people are like, ‘You look like him.’ Some people are, ‘Why are you sending his picture?’ Some people are like ‘Ew!’ I mean, like, I get it all.”
Funnily enough, as discussed previously, app users have reported Andy for impersonating Andy Cohen. But the landscape of online dating has changed, he said. For example, once upon a time — before his years on WWHL — he met other men via Craigslist.
That wasn’t all.
“I have kids, obviously, and so dating has really changed, and I meet two kind[s] of people,” he explained. “People that I want to sleep with and people that I want to date, and we all do. And people that I want to date and sleep with, obviously. That’s the goal.”
What has Andy Cohen’s longest relationship been?
Andy was “embarrassed” to admit on the Call Her Daddy episode that his longest relationship lasted only three years, adding that he’d spent more of his adult life single than not.
“But I like being single,” he maintained. “I have a really good life, so I haven’t been, like, ‘Oh, I’m so lonely.’ And then my kids wound up saving my life. Having kids later in life was the greatest thing I’ve ever done. It’s awesome. I have a family. It’s great.”
