The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys’ Steven McBee Jr. has big things in store for the holidays on the Missouri farm.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, the eldest of the McBee brothers shared the McBee family’s Thanksgiving plans: a welcome celebration before his father, Steve McBee Sr., leaves to serve two years in a federal prison beginning Dec. 1. He said they had “such good holiday traditions” planned for a get-together, presumably with brothers Jesse McBee, Cole McBee, Brayden McBee, and all their families, “even with my dad around,” Steven said.
“You know, for Thanksgiving, we’ll always play a little football together, have a big family cookout, and then, you know, Christmas here on the way, we always do a Christmas Eve, a big family cookout, and open one gift,” the farmer and rancher continued. “So it’s pretty neat.”
The 2025 Thanksgiving holiday marks the first for Cole and Kacie Adkison’s daughter, Blair Collins McBee, and Jesse and Alli McBee’s daughter, Summer Leigh McBee.
What’s more, Steven looked forward to ringing in 2026 with his mom-approved girlfriend, Allie Eklund, by his side, and had “got an early start” on his New Year’s resolutions by finding a romantic partner.
“Other than that, [I] have some big goals for my fitness side of things, and then really just continue to pour into my family and continue to pour into quality time spent with them and see how this ride goes.”

When asked about his fitness plans for the new year, Steven said his “body fat goals” were at the top of the list. Having already reached a goal of 7.7 percent body fat last spring, “I would like to see if I can beat that,” he said, “maybe get down to, like 7 percent.”

He shared his tips for staying fit, adding that his physical work of the farm life didn’t quite cut it. As he put it, “Unfortunately, the hardest part is all about diet, not necessarily working out, and it’s just making sure that you’re taking in less calories than you burn, and it’s a really hard thing to do because I love food.”

Earlier this month, at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Steven reminded fans that the close-knit siblings had their father’s back amid his legal woes. As a reminder, Steve Sr. must self-surrender to federal authorities on Dec. 1 to serve 24 months in prison after pleading guilty in 2024 to crop insurance fraud. He was also ordered to pay restitution upwards of $4 million.

“My dad is the most optimistic person we’ve ever met in our lives,” Steven Jr. said with his brothers at his side. “The man was built to handle stressful situations. If anything, we’re more stressed out than he is.”
He continued, “We’re just here to love and support him through this time, and as a family, we’ll get through anything together.”
