The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom returned to the platform this week to send a heartfelt birthday wish to Patrice “Sway” McKinney, a salon founder/public speaker based in Atlanta.

“Happiest Birthday [Patrice],” Porsha captioned the November 28 post. “Hope this year continues to bring you everything you want and more! Can’t wait to act up saturday!”
The carousel began with a photo of Porsha and Patrice embracing one another before a gorgeous Christmas tree, and was followed by footage of their fun night out at the club. The final slide captured Porsha smiling ear to ear, as Patrice wrapped her arms around the Housewife and kissed her on the cheek. It was clear the relationship was of the romantic variety.

Porsha Williams reveals she’s romantically involved with a woman
Porsha shared the love life update roughly five months after she finalized her divorce from Simon Guobadia, whom she had married in November 2022. After splitting from the Nigerian-American businessman, Porsha revealed she had returned to the dating scene and was involved with both a man and a woman.
“So the people I am talking to now — it’s just two — I’ve narrowed it down to two. And he is nice, and she is nice,” she said during an October 5 panel discussion at CultureCon. “But I really just wanted to make sure these were normal people. And what I talked about with my therapist the other day was, I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists. And guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you. They do everything. They’re perfect. They mirror you.
“They’re not letting me walk over them,” she added. “They aren’t just doing whatever they need to do to get into the relationship… I have to expect someone to call me out from time to time.”

Porsha continued to tease her same-sex relationship during BravoCon 2025, saying she was still “single,” but had “started to focus” on a special someone.
“I hope that this could be something, but we’ll see,” she revealed on the Getting Lucky at the Love Hotel panel. “You know, still just dating.”

Elsewhere during BravoCon weekend, Andy Cohen asked the Georgia native about her experience “swimming in the lady pond.” And her response was classic Porsha.
“Oh, well, I have dipped a toe or two in the pond,” she said. “And it is warm. It is warm.”
