Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has toyed with the idea of trading the Garden State with the Sunshine State, but has that notion changed over time?
During an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish over the BravoCon 2025 weekend, the Jersey mom of four and stepmom of two shared that Florida is still on her radar, especially as her nest gets smaller. Of course, with eldest daughter Gia Giudice of Next Gen NYC now settled into her new Jersey City apartment, and Milania Giudice enrolled in the University of Tampa, it may make sense why those remaining in Teresa’s Montville home — including her youngest, Audriana Giudice, and Teresa’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas — would set their sights on the sunny state.
“Well, Audriana wants to go to college in Florida … and Milania is in Florida, [and] I hate the cold weather,” Teresa explained. “I mean, I love Jersey, but not in the winter.”
The Skinny Italian cookbook author expressed a desire to do “half and half” between the two states once high school sophomore Audriana finished her senior year, adding, “Now it’s only four of us in our house … and it’s a huge house, and it’s, like, only the four of us. So, we’ll see what happens. Like when Audriana moves out and goes to college, you know?”
Meanwhile, third daughter, Gabriella Giudice, continues her studies at the University of Michigan.

“I would love that,” Teresa continued, again expressing her desire to head south once Audriana finished high school. “So, we’ll see what happens.”

Why Teresa Giudice wants to leave New Jersey
The New Jersey-born Italian-American has chewed on the idea for some time, revealing in 2024 that she and her husband of three years have scoped out a few places in Florida and elsewhere … so long as it was warm.
“We’re looking at properties now,” she said in a July 2024 interview with The Daily Dish. “So even if we get something now, and eventually — when Audriana’s done with high school — then we’re going to do six months and six months. Like, six months in Jersey, and then six months wherever we pick….just warm weather all year round, yes! That’s what I want!”
