The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards has much to consider in her dating life, as her separation from Mauricio Umansky continues. That’s what she said in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish during her attendance at BravoCon 2025 when asked whether she thought about her next steps.
“I do,” Kyle admitted. “I’m not, like, quick to jump on any next moves yet, but I mean, listen. It’s a very long time we’ve been together, and there really hasn’t been a reason to make any moves yet.”
Of course, Kyle and Mauricio — who share four daughters, including Kyle’s eldest from a previous relationship — announced they’d be going their separate ways in October 2023 after 27 years of marriage. How each one navigates life post-split will be featured in the upcoming Season 15 of RHOBH, though Kyle has long been candid about how their living “separate lives.”
“We’re just taking it a day at a time,” the diamond holder continued. “You know, living our lives, separate lives.”

“I’m just thankful for the relationship that I have with my family, with my kids,” he explained. “I’m thankful that I’m super happy right now.”

The estranged couple is not officially divorced, although Mauricio — who moved out of the couple’s once-shared Encino, California, home in May 2024 in exchange for a new apartment — is swimming around the dating pool, as he confirmed in Nov. 2025. “I’m alone. I’m single. I’m dating,” he admitted. “I guess that’s my era.”
As Mauricio navigates the dating arena, he has his daughters to impart their well-meaning advice. In a separate People interview, he said, “The biggest advice that they give from their perspective is: ‘Dad, we want you to be happy. We want you to enjoy yourself, but be age-appropriate.’ They try. They want me not to be photographed and be out there, particularly with somebody I’m just on a first date with or something like that.”
Meanwhile, Kyle continues to explore her own love life on Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, premiering Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8/7c on Bravo and streaming the next day on Peacock.
