Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are doing “great” in co-parenting their daughters amidst their separation. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple have officially been separated since October 2023, and have found a way of life that works best for them over the past two-plus years.
Kyle spoke with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, where she shared a major update on her current co-parenting relationship with Mauricio as they work to parent their daughters — high schooler Portia Umansky, as well as their adult daughters Alexia and Sophia. Kyle also has an adult daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, from her first marriage. “Co-parenting is great, you know,” she said.
“We have so much respect for each other and so much love for our kids and for our family, so that makes it easy to get along,” she explained. “Because, you know, we put our family and our children first and foremost, and things are good, you know.”
“He’s a great guy, and I’m lucky that we’re able to navigate through this so peacefully,” she concluded. In fact, the interview took place just weeks before Kyle, Mauricio, and their daughters spent Thanksgiving together this year.

Kyle Richards opens up about Mauricio Umansky’s dating life like never before
Kyle continued to speak and share updates about her relationship with Mauricio at BravoCon. During the Livin’ in Beverly Hills panel on Friday, Nov. 14, Kyle admitted that she and Mauricio are “allowed to do whatever” they want in their dating lives, because they are separated. “We live separate lives,” she said.
“But, um, of course, I think we’ve seen Mauricio dating,” she noted before admitting she doesn’t want to know who he’s dating. “It’s like, you know, we don’t really want to know. And I can just look at TMZ and find out, anyway.”
As for her own dating life, Kyle shared with The Daily Dish, “I’m not, like, quick to jump on any next moves yet, but I mean, listen. It’s a very long time we’ve been together, and there really hasn’t been a reason to make any moves yet.”
She added, “We’re just taking it a day at a time. You know, living our lives, separate lives.”

During the same BravoCon 2025 panel, Kyle shared a major update on where she stands with Mauricio today. She admitted that although they are separated, there is still so much love between them.
“It’s just a given, but we are really grateful that we love and care about each other enough that we put our children and our family first, and we’re able to go about this separation in a very amicable, loving way,” she noted.

Mauricio has also opened up about his own love life. The Agency founder spoke with People on Nov. 18, where he confirmed that he is single. “How long have I been separated? Two years, two and a half years, plus or minus,” he explained. “I was not counting — but I’m still in the era of being single.”
“I’m alone,” he continued. “I’m single. I’m dating. I guess that’s my era.”

In that same interview with the publication, Mauricio expressed his gratitude for his estranged wife. “I’m just thankful for the relationship that I have with my family, with my kids,” he explained. “I’m thankful that I’m super happy right now.”
“We’re living in a difficult world all the way around with a lot of hatred,” he added. “I’m just thankful that I’ve got a lot of love around me.”

Kyle further admitted during a July Amazon Live stream that she’s “proud” of her current relationship with Mauricio. “I’m really proud of how we are navigating through this separation,” she said. “We’re great friends and we love our daughters and we built a beautiful family and it’s nice to know that even though we’re separated, we can keep it that way.”

“It’s been really helpful for my daughters, too, to get through this,” she added.

Kyle also hasn’t shied away from showing her personal life on the past 15 years of RHOBH — from raising her daughters to the ups and downs of her marriage. Kyle appeared on the Housewife2Housewife: Legacy and Newbies panel at BravoCon on Nov. 16, where she opened up about this.
“People have seen, you know, a lot of great things that have happened with my family,” she explained. “Portia turning 2 years old and now applying to college, which is so crazy. But I’ve had major fallouts with my family. Having blood on the show is a very different thing than falling out with people you’re not as close with. It was really painful to go through that in the public eye.”
