Kyle Richards is “really excited” about her career in Hollywood. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is a mom of four daughters, a former child actress, a current working actress, a producer, a series creator, a philanthropist, and a total multi-hyphenate.
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, she admitted that she has a few projects in the works. “I’m producing two shows right now,” she said. “One is in pre-production, and I’m just really excited. It’s a one-hour drama.”
She continued, noting that she loves producing things, especially since it has been so healing for her. “For me, you know, being able to come up with ideas and stories is very therapeutic for me,” she admitted. “My favorite thing I like to do when I’m alone is come up with stories, and that’s how this came about.”
Is Kyle Richards still acting?
Yes, she is. Kyle revealed to The Daily Dish that she did “a few episodes” of Lincoln Lawyer, which is “coming out soon.” Kyle will appear on Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 as Celeste, a “Beverly Hills fabulous” client who looks to hire a divorce lawyer after “being referred by a previous satisfied client,” according to Deadline.
But, Kyle admitted to The Daily Dish that she is not acting as much as she would like to. “I mean, I just want to be able to continue acting like I do and I’ve been able to keep my foot in the door with that, even with my schedule,” she said.

“I would like to be doing more for acting, but it’s hard with my schedule,” she added.

The mom of four also just started her own production company, House of 18. She admitted to The Daily Dish that it is named after something very special to her — her daughters.

“That’s my lucky number,” she noted. “All four of my girls have 1 or 8 in their birthdays.”
What’s next for Kyle Richards’ career?
Kyle just doesn’t want to work in the entertainment industry. She revealed to The Daily Dish that she would like to do more with her career and personal life.
“I mean, there’s so many things I fantasize about doing,” she admitted. “I want to start a hat line and maybe open a store, maybe in Tennessee, so I have all these things I want to do, but adding something else to the mix, no. If I’m gonna add something to the mix it’s gonna be a hobby, like, learning an instrument or something.”

Kyle already has so many accomplishments under her belt. In 2018, Kyle was the executive producer for American Woman, a one-season series set in the 1970’s, and loosely based on Kyle’s childhood. She has also racked up numerous acting credits including on Little House on the Prairie as well as Halloween, and some of the sequels, including Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. Let’s not forget, she also starred in the Peacock’s holiday movie, Housewives of the North Pole.
But she isn’t just focused on the entertainment world. Kyle previously owned her own boutique, Kyle by Alene Too, but closed its doors in 2018. Kyle launched her own fashion line, Kyle by Kyle Richards, on HSN in 2014 before debuting her new label Kyle x Shahida, in 2019. She temporarily launched a boutique for the line in 2021 in Palm Desert, California.

As fans will recall, Kyle joined RHOBH in Season 1. As noted during a Dec. 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kyle is “the longest consecutive run as a Real Housewife.”
During the same WWHL episode, Kyle also revealed what advice she would give herself back then in her marriage: “Not to get so busy you forget about your foundation. Not saying I did but… Also tune out outside noise and things that weren’t true affected me so much… it made me act a certain way towards him…but I would be upset and treat him differently.”
