As Dorit Kemsley navigated a divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley onThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, Kyle Richards’ complicated friendship with PK is still making things awkward for Dorit. The drama has been playing out since Season 14, but it took another interesting turn in Season 15 Episode 2, when Kyle defended PK in her confessional.
“The other women have never met PK. And whatever Dorit says, they say, ‘Yes, what an a—hole! What a narcissist!’” Kyle said in the Dec. 11 episode. “I cannot help that I have met this person, and I had experiences with this person, and see him in a different light.”
To recap: Dorit told the ‘Wives that her children, 11-year-old Jagger and 9-year-old Phoenix, had been planning a trip to Florida to stay with Dorit’s parents, until she got a letter from a lawyer that PK planned to “block it.” Then, Dorit said PK called with other plans.
“He spoke to Phoenix, and he said, ‘Okay, well, if they’re going, then Daddy’s going to come to Florida, and we’ll stay in a hotel, and you’ll be with me,’” Dorit recalled.
Kyle suggested Dorit try to “meet in the middle” by letting PK join the Florida trip. “That’s a little bit of a win,” Kyle reasoned. “They can go there and see [their] grandparents. See him.”

When Dorit insisted that PK was only doing this to “hurt” her, Kyle replied, “Who knows? We’re not saying, ‘Maybe he is, maybe he’s not.’”
The exchange caused Dorit to further question Kyle’s loyalty. “Really? You can really have the audacity to say, ‘Well, maybe, and maybe not’?” Dorit said of Kyle in a confessional. “Do you know how to show up 100 percent? Ever? I’m broken. What more proof do you need? You have known me almost ten years. How many times have you seen me this way?”

Dorit was vocal about her frustrations with PK during the RHOBH Season 15 premiere, and even shared that her children were upset with him. “A lot of the hurt is that PK is not around for them consistently,” she said during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show.
During the Dec. 11 episode when she admitted that Jagger drew support from his grandfather. “He’s asking for my dad. He’s asking for my dad. Not his own father. For my father,” she revealed.
She later tearfully told producers, “My kids, they needed love and support and just to be around family. This is the first time I’m seeing the impact of mine and PK’s divorce, and it’s ripping my heart out of my chest.”
During the RHOBH After Show, Kyle warned Dorit against making comments about PK’s parenting.
“As a parent, I’m just thinking, if someone said that about me, my claws are coming out,” Kyle said. “And I’m not calling her a liar. I’m just saying I know him as a different person than what I’m hearing, and regardless of what’s going on and what he is or is not doing, I don’t think we should say that in this public space that people are going to see on TV in six months.”

Where does Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley’s friendship stand now?
Although Kyle and Dorit seemed to make headway in regaining their friendship when they vacationed together in the Hamptons in August, Kyle admitted during an Amazon Live stream on Sept. 2 that “there’s some rough patches here and there.” She added, “Work in progress, let’s say.”
Dorit was less optimistic about their friendship status on the RHOBH After Show when she shared, “I thought Kyle and I were moving forward, and if we’re going to move forward, we both have to really show that we want to. And so, I’m going slowly because I’m walking with trepidation because I don’t trust.”
Dorit also made it clear that Kyle’s past friendship with PK was a barrier to them improving their own relationship.
“My struggle with Kyle is that I think sometimes I just really expect to feel like my friendship is more important to her than her friendship with him,” she declared. “Every time she has the opportunity to make me feel like she’s really showing up…I want to actually see it. I want to feel it. But then, I’m not getting the actions that are matching.”
