The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley and pop singer Boy George go a long way back, but things have changed amid Dorit’s ongoing separation from estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley.
According to the mom of two on the Dec. 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, it appears the Culture Club frontman has taken a side.
“He is firmly in PK’s camp,” Dorit told Andy Cohen. “Hasn’t even reached out. It’s kind of like — yeah.”
Dorit also used the word “firmly” multiple times in May when speaking to Bravo producer Alex Baskin on Season 3, Episode 3 of Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast about Boy George’s support of PK. She added at the time, “I’m also not fighting for people that are in his camp. It’s like, let PK have whomever he needs [for support]. He should have that as should I.”
Neither PK — who serves as Boy George’s talent manager — nor the British pop icon have shied away from putting their friendship on display ever since Dorit filed for divorce from the father of her two children earlier this year. However, at the time of the Hot Mic interview in May, Dorit was under the impression that she and the “Karma Chameleon” singer would “always be friends.”

Audiences first saw Boy George on RHOBH Season 7 (back in 2017) when Dorit and PK — along with kids Jagger, now 11, and Phoenix, now 9 — joined the series. At the time, Boy George lived as a houseguest and appeared on the series as a close friend of the family. They were so close, in fact, that the married couple designated Boy George as the godfather of Phoenix, and Dorit even referred to him as her “pseudo-husband.”

“We met George a few years back when he had approached PK about managing him, and when he came to L.A., PK had suggested, ’cause we had the room, he said, ‘You’re welcome to come to the house,’” Dorit said at the time.
Months after Dorit and PK announced their split in May 2024, Dorit said PK left the marital home to stay with the new-wave musician.
As she explained on the Season 13 reunion, “After we wrapped, things got progressively worse, and him and I were at probably an all-time bad,” Dorit said. “[Boy] George was in town for two weeks in L.A. [and] he was staying with George in the hotel.”

Between sweet birthday messages and working together on Boy George’s upcoming biopic, the Englishmen with strong ties to the entertainment industry continue showcasing their deep friendship on social media. For PK’s 58th birthday in August, they were joined by Kyle Richards’ estranged husband and PK’s “bromance” partner, Mauricio Umansky, as well as Johnny Hates Jazz singer Clark Datchler for a men’s-only dinner in London.

FWIW, Boy George maintains a close relationship with Jagger and Phoenix, as evidenced by his joining PK and the kids for an action-packed stay in Los Angeles. As PK commented in one of his Instagram snaps, “Phoenix with her GD father is a Beverly Hills Moment.”
