Heather Dubrow and Josh Flagg came together for a night of community, advocacy, and celebration. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent co-hosted the 2025 Tidings event, an annual holiday party that honors GLAAD’s commitment to LGBTQ+ visibility and societal progress.
The star-studded soiree went down on Wednesday, October 17, at Josh’s Trousdale Estates home in Beverly Hills, where Heather delivered a heartfelt speech about the importance of self-acceptance and love.
“First of all, I would just like to welcome everyone to the GLAAD Holiday 2025 event,” she said, as heard in Josh’s Instagram Stories. “I want to thank my dear friend and co-host, Josh Flagg, who apparently refuses to speak without a teleprompter! But he’s the cutest thing, and he has the most gorgeous home, and he’s opened it all up to us. So, thank you very, very much.”

Heather Dubrow shares emotional speech at GLAAD’s Tidings event
Heather went on to say that she had written a “really beautiful speech” for the event, but decided to scrap it in light of the Brown University and Sydney, Australia, shootings.
“I thought [the speech] was kind of fabulous,” she continued, “but I have to tell you that the events of the last week have really thrown me, as they’ve thrown so many of us.”
Heather said the aforementioned tragedies should serve as a reminder to be your authentic self and always live in the moment.
“All we’re promised is right now… This is what we have,” she said. “So, the lesson is to be present. Be present right now. The other lesson, obviously — and what is so meaningful about tonight — is that if there’s ever a moment in all of our lives to say, ‘You know what? I am going to love exactly who I want to love, and I am going to live as my true, authentic self, and be the person that I am meant to be,’ this is that time… We are so thankful to have a partner like GLAAD that is willing to stand up for all of us and our friends and our brothers and our sisters and our parents and our children.”

Heather Dubrow & Terry Dubrow’s LGBTQ+ Advocacy
Heather and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, have been longtime proponents of LGBTQ rights and inclusion. The parents spoke about their advocacy in a 2024 interview with People magazine, pointing out that three of their four children identify as LGBTQ+. Their eldest daughter, Max Dubrow, came out as bisexual in 2020, while their youngest daughter, Kat Dubrow, came out less than two years later. In 2022, Heather confirmed that her and Terry’s youngest son, Ace Dubrow, came out as transgender.
“I am actually grateful for the platform that Heather has with Housewives,” Terry told the outlet. “It allows us to support the LGBTQ community. Our family is very, very involved with it. And not a lot of platforms would necessarily allow you to support them in that way. So with love and support, we just feel very blessed to be part of the community.”
