The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Stacey Rusch has welcomed Thiemo Rusch back into her life with open arms, but her stance on them officially living together again is a little more complicated.
“He is trying to get back in the house, yeah,” Stacey revealed on The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show for Season 10, Episode 12. “I don’t know that we’ve come to any final decision. I think that we recognize that we still love each other, that we value our family above anything else. We are in the final stages of getting back to right where we left off.”
Because Stacey and Thiemo’s reconciliation (on the heels of their divorce being finalized in late 2024) is something the RHOP ‘Wife considers to be happy news, she hasn’t quite been able to figure out why her castmates still have so many questions about her relationship.

“I love Thiemo; Thiemo loves me. And we’re trying to work it out,” she added. “I don’t know why that’s not enough. Like, why isn’t that simple explanation of our relationship enough for people? I would think that my friends would applaud going back to your husband and reuniting your family. I don’t know why it has been met with such disdain and scrutiny. I’ll never understand it.”
Why Stacey and Thiemo Rusch’s daughter, Arabella, still doesn’t know they’re back together
One person that Stacey and Thiemo have been hesitant to share too much information with is their 9-year-old daughter, Arabella, aka Bella. In the same RHOP After Show clip, a producer asked if they would finally tell Arabella that they’re back together, should Thiemo fully move back into the family home.
“We aren’t gonna tell Bella anything anytime soon,” Stacey answered. “We just told her we were getting a divorce. We cried. We sat with her and cried and talked about our divorce and what that meant for our family. I am not going to sit down with her, less than six months later, and say that we’re back together. I would never do that to my child.”
She continued, “So, as we navigate our relationship and our family dynamics, once we have made a final decision, we’ll let Arabella know. But for right now, Arabella knows that she is loved, that she is supported, that her mommy loves her, her daddy loves her, and we are doing our best to find our way back to one another.”

During RHOP‘s Dec. 21 episode, Stacey and Thiemo both agreed that Arabella’s happiness was “the most important thing” for them. And though her father still wasn’t living with them full-time, the youngster had expressed plenty of excitement that he was spending time at home again.Â
“Bella’s always gonna be OK because she has you, and you’re an amazing father,” Stacey told Thiemo during a one-on-one conversation, before playfully adding, “And she has me, and I’m, like, clearly amazing.”
As Stacey put it in a confessional, “I don’t know that Bella has had this, like, big reaction to Thiemo being back home. Because we’ve spent so much time together, it’s almost like he never left. Bella’s happy, and that’s all that matters.”
Stacey Rusch and Thiemo share a reconciliation update
The pair’s aforementioned conversation took place during a workout session in their home gym, and in between reps, they shed some more light on the progress of their reconciliation.
After Thiemo pointed out that they’d “gone through a lot,” Stacey chimed in, “I think we made the right decision.”
He agreed with her and added, “I think it just requires, like, real love, and I think that’s what we still have going.”
After the couple shared a kiss in the scene, Stacey offered more intel to a producer: “Now that Thiemo is back home, it’s almost like we’re picking up right where we left off. He still has his home, but despite getting a divorce, this feels natural, this feels right.”
