Kyle Richards has lots of love for her sister Kim Richards, and recently offered a rare update about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum.
Kyle, more specifically, reported that Kim is “good” since trading California for Florida earlier this year, living her best life as a grandmother in the sunshine state. In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, Kyle shared she’d gotten to see the tight-knit family in action.
“She has the most beautiful grandchildren I’ve ever seen; they’re unbelievable, and I’m really close with them, and I love them so much,” Kyle said. “I just went to Kim’s granddaughter’s little Halloween thing at school, and it was so fun to go and see, and have that relationship with them is nice.”
Kyle said her grandniece was “excited” in her little costume. Moreover, “She was, like, calling my name when she was supposed to be taking a group picture, you know. I’m just obsessed with them.”
Kim is a mom to adult children, Brooke Wiederhorn, Whitney White, Chad Davis, and Kimberly Jackson. Through Brooke and her husband, Thayer Wiederhorn, Kim has three grandchildren, and by 2024, Whitney was expecting her very first bundle of joy.

What is the latest with Kim Richards and her family?
Kim, the middle sister between Kyle and half-sister Kathy Hilton, served as a full-time Housewife in the 90210 show’s first five seasons, though she is more focused on family away from the spotlight these days. Sharing an update at the RHOBH Season 14 reunion, Kyle said it was “unfortunate” that the two sisters didn’t see each other as often as they used to.
At the same time, Kyle reassured the others that Kim was doing “better than the last time that there was stuff in the press.”
Although Kim opts for a private life these days, her sisters sent their birthday wishes from afar when Kim turned 61 in September. Kyle wrote on Instagram, in part, “Wishing you an abundance of happiness, health, and love. May this year bring you all that you wish for. Love you.” Kathy, for her part, wrote, “We love you so much! Wishing you all the love & happiness in the world & your best year ever!”
Will Kim Richards ever return to RHOBH?
Kathy reported Kim was doing “really well” in a Dec. 6 interview with Entertainment Tonight and acknowledged many fans would love to see Kim back on the show. That said, “I don’t think it’s for her,” Kathy admitted, adding that she tended to shy away from cameras these days. “She’s a very talented actress, too,” the big sister added. “I don’t know. I don’t think she really is interested.”
