The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys’ Cole McBee is expected to be the next one standing at the altar ever since his stunning proposal to Kacie Adkison.
Just days after the second-youngest McBee brother popped the question, he joined Steven McBee Jr. and Jesse McBee at BravoCon 2025 to share details about the engagement. “It was the best night ever,” Cole said. “Kacie loved it. She was surprised.”
The couple’s only child, 11-month-old daughter Blair Collins McBee, also had a hand. As Cole put it, “We got to incorporate Blair. I was holding her, and it was just the best night of my life, really one of them. It was so much fun.” He said catching Kacie off guard with a stunning 3.16-carat ring was a bit challenging, because “she’s a little spy.”
As the betrothed couple told People, they’re looking to get hitched in the fall of 2026 … preferably “a big wedding” on the family’s Gallatin, Missouri, farm, “with a mechanical bull,” Cole stated.
Jesse, in the brothers’ interview with The Daily Dish, used his recent experience of marrying high school sweetheart, Alli McBee, in the Season 2 finale, to tell his little brother, “Just say yes to everything, pretty much,” when it comes to planning the big day.
“I’ll tell Kacie, ‘You do what you want,’” Cole continued. “I’ll help out when I eat; I want to choose the food. That’s about it.”
When asked for specifics, Steven Jr. said, “It better be McBee meat,” to which Cole responded, “Yeah, we better get some steaks from Steven.”

How Cole McBee proposed to Kacie Adkison
Cole got down on one knee on Nov. 7, 10 months after the couple welcomed Blair into the world. However, Kacie didn’t know what to make of it at first. “I realized it wasn’t a prank when I saw Cole and Blair walk out, and the whole trail up to the gazebo was covered in flowers,” she explained to People. “I wanted a lot of flowers included in my proposal. I was very happy and very shocked.”
She described feeling overwhelmed when she realized Cole had planned the entire thing.
“I started crying,” she said. “I feel like I blacked out from emotion, so I couldn’t do anything. I was extremely caught off guard. I still can’t believe this happened.”

A timeline of Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison’s relationship
When The McBee Dynasty debuted on the USA Network — before its big move to Bravo — Kacie said she and Cole met five years prior through a mutual friend, admitting she “friend-zoned” him in the beginning, according to USA Insider. Though “young and immature” at the time, the two continued to grow as a couple.
In Season 2, the McBee family matriarch, Kristi McBee, helped Cole pick out a perfect engagement ring, though Kacie wasn’t quite ready to accept.
“I just think we need a little more time … I don’t wanna get engaged just because it’s the next step in our relationship,” she said in Season 2, Episode 8. “I wanna get married because, like, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.”
All said, both Cole and Kacie report they’re the happiest they’ve ever been — save for a few ups and downs throughout the series — since Kacie gave birth to Blair.
“Becoming parents has brought us so much closer, and I feel confident in our relationship to take that next step,” Kacie told The Daily Dish earlier this year. “Blair will be a beautiful flower girl, and that makes it even more special.”
