The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky may continue navigating their individual lives, but there’s no stopping them from spending the holidays together as a family.
Over the Christmas holiday, Kyle’s eldest, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, uploaded an LOL-worthy video on TikTok showing Mauricio tinkering away under the kitchen sink of their Aspen vacation home. Nearby, Kyle and Mauricio’s daughters, Alexia Umansky, Sophia Umansky, and Portia Umansky, couldn’t control their laughter as the dad attempted to change a set of batteries per household repairs. The estranged couple, especially, found Mauricio’s failed tries so funny that they laughed until they were breathless and crying.
“Oh, my God, I’m dead,” Kyle managed to get out. “He’s been trying to change batteries for 20 minutes. [inaudible] You sell houses better than you change batteries.”
As Kyle and the real estate mogul wiped away their tears, Farrah wondered if they’d peed their pants. The couple — who’d announced their separation two years ago after 27 years of marriage — struggled to complete sentences through the uncontrollable laughter. However, once Mauricio got the faucet to work, everyone clapped at his handyman skills. “Dad did it!” they cheered.
As Farrah wrote in the caption, “It takes a village.”
Elsewhere on social media, Farrah shared their snowy Christmas morning on her Instagram Stories, giving a peek at a mountain of presents spilling out from under the Christmas tree, opening gifts wrapped in dog-themed paper, and later singing Christmas carols in the living room.

As Kyle said in her confessional, “I was at a very vulnerable place in my life, and I fell hard for this person. You know, if I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I don’t care. I’m an open person like that. But that doesn’t mean that the person I’m with feels the same way.”
As Mauricio continues what he’s called his “era of being single,” the exes have come together – especially around the holidays — as they navigate life after separation.
Kyle Richards hoped to “disconnect” this holiday season 2025
The family’s recent — and rib-tickling — reunion marks another holiday in the books for the estranged pair and their four children, a time for them to carry on their Christmas tradition by heading to the Colorado ski town. All is going according to the holiday plans Kyle shared with The Daily Dish during last month’s BravoCon 2025.

“I’m really looking forward to taking some time off in December, once things quiet down in my business, so I can just sort of disconnect and just be with my girls in the snow, staying in by the fireplace, being cozy,” Kyle revealed. “The things I love the most!”
