Months before she confirmed their separation, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Bronwyn Newport took a moment on the cast trip to Greece to recognize a side of husband Todd Bradley that she said few rarely acknowledge.
Just as a server began taking her and her RHOSLC castmates’ drink orders at a group dinner during Season 6, Episode 15, Bronwyn anxiously darted from the table to take a phone call from Todd. In a confessional, she explained that Todd had been helping her mom, Muzzy, complete a major move from California to Utah while she was in Greece.
“This is my mom’s last weekend in her house, as they’ve sold it,” Bronwyn told a producer. “And Todd flew out to kind of, last-minute, swoop in and help get it done. And he’s keeping me up to date, but I think it’s wearing on both of them. So, I feel incredibly guilty that it’s not me who’s there.”

After confirming that everything was OK, Bronwyn tearfully credited Todd for holding down the fort at home in her absence.
“This is the Todd that people don’t see. This is the Todd I love,” Bronwyn added in her confessional as her voice began to break. “[He] didn’t have to be asked. Todd would do anything for my family. He’s so generous, he’s so wonderful. Sometimes I think he’s a moron and does the dumbest s–t, but this Todd [who’s] there for me no matter what is a Todd that doesn’t get acknowledged enough.”
Why Bronwyn’s mom’s move caused “stress” for her and Todd Bradley
Meanwhile, a flashback to two days earlier showed Meredith Marks clocking how preoccupied Bronwyn seemed to be during a Santorini shopping trip.
“I’m really stressed,” Bronwyn admitted to Meredith, before detailing how a friend was buying the family home that her parents had lived in since she was an infant. Though she, Todd, and her daughter, Gwen, 19, had been “going back and forth and helping” her mom, having to pack up the “last few things” alone ended up being “awful” for Muzzy.
“So, [Todd’s] like, ‘I’m flying out there right now,'” Bronwyn continued. “Like, I feel bad. I feel like I should be there. But it’s also my dad going into memory care; my mom just having this brain tumor and moving out of a house she’s had for 40 years. It’s just a lot of change for her right now.”

Once Bronwyn rejoined her concerned castmates at dinner, the ladies asked for an update on what was happening back home.
“Todd just texted me, ‘Can you call me?'” she shared. “He just was telling me stuff about my mom’s house. … It’s just a lot. There’s a lot there.”Â
When Lisa Barlow asked if Todd was “stressed,” Bronwyn answered, “Uh, yeah,” before revealing that Muzzy was also having a tough time.
“I think yesterday was really hard,” she added. “It was Mother’s Day; none of her kids were there. I think it felt, like, intense that Todd had to come help. But it’s good. I’m here, I’m good.”
How Todd Bradley supported Bronwyn Newport’s parents
Earlier on RHOSLC Season 6, Bronwyn also opened up about other ways Todd had pitched in when her parents experienced some “health challenges.”
In addition to her mom’s brain tumor diagnosis and “emergency surgery,” her father had been living with Alzheimer’s disease for more than a decade, and so they both moved in with her and Todd. However, they since relocated Bronwyn’s dad to a memory care facility where he could receive “round-the-clock, 24-hour care.”
During a previous date with Todd in Episode 3, Bronwyn told her husband of nine years that she “couldn’t have done that” all without him.
“You’ve really stepped up financially and are taking care of stuff for them in the interim while they figure out their house and their logistics,” Bronwyn added. “I know that’s not what you wanted to do. And I know you’ve changed plans and changed travel and changed your meetings, and it means a lot to me.”
In the meantime, don’t miss the latest update on where Bronwyn and Todd’s relationship stands today.
