Although Craig Conover has found himself in a love triangle with Salley Carson and newcomer Charley Manley during Southern Charm Season 11, that triangle appears to crumble into messy dust during the above preview of Episode 7 (airing Jan. 14), all due to a stunning revelation from Rodrigo Reyes.
As the friend group, led by Austen Kroll, is in the midst of slamming an absent Craig, Rodrigo declares, “Stop it! Like, Charley’s about to go on a date with him. So, don’t scare her!”
The bombshell immediately shocks everyone, including Molly O’Connell who grimaces and utters, “Oh!” and later adds, “Holy s—t!” Madison LeCroy asks, “What the f—k are you talking about?” Meanwhile Charley looks stunned, and doesn’t utter a word, while Salley angrily declares, “What!”
Although a possible spark between Salley and Craig has been persisting all season — due to their flirty texts and late nights in Craig’s hot tub — Craig in turn has expressed interest in Charley, who shared during Episode 5, “I can tell that there’s something between Craig and I.” But Charley hasn’t acted on her feelings—until now.
“I do feel like I’m walking on eggshells a little bit with Salley, just, because of Craig,” she explained in Episode 5. “I mean, it’s the only thing that Salley and I have ever fought about.”

Austen Kroll reveals how Craig Conover feels about Salley Carson
Rodrigo’s bomb isn’t the only one dropped in the Jan. 14 episode preview, however. A few moments earlier, Austen spilled some tea of his own regarding a conversation he had with Craig, and reveals why Craig didn’t attend the party.
“Craig’s not here ‘because basically, I think he’s like, mad at Salley,” Austen explains. “He was very quick to be like, ‘Me and Salley are like, done.’”
As Charley sits silently but open-mouthed, Salley asks, “What exactly did he say about me?”
Austen replies, “That you’re a tornado. That you basically leave a path of destruction wherever you go.” Salley rhetorically asks, “And what does he f—king leave?”
Austen admits that he’s confused by Craig’s stance on Salley. “I thought it was an unfair characterization. Like, [Craig’s] been hanging out with Salley for like a month straight.”
Salley agrees, adding of Craig, “Texting me that you want me to stay over at your f—king house…”
Austen then reveals more of his talk with Craig. “He was like, ‘Yeah, well, I’ve been thinking this for a long time with Salley,’” which leaves Salley livid.
Austen adds even more fuel to the fire when he says, “And then it gets juicy for Salley and Charley, where [Craig’s] like, ‘I don’t think that Charley can be the person that she wants to be when Salley’s around.’”

Craig recently shared updates of that solo trip to Switzerland with his Instagram viewers, as he posted snaps of himself tagged in Grindelwald in a ski mask and goggles on Jan. 6, and added looks at his views of the mountains over a breakfast buffet.
