Riley Burruss kicked off 2026 on a fun, luxurious, and romantic note.
After ringing in the holidays with her blended family, the Next Gen NYC cast member returned to Instagram to share a glimpse at her European getaway with her mystery boyfriend. Riley posted a January 10 Reel documenting her and her beau’s week in the French Riviera, where they enjoyed days on the beach and local cuisine, as well as trips to the Rue d’Antibes and Bel-Air Fine Art gallery in Cannes.
“Euro Tour. First Week of 2026,” she captioned the post. “Starting the year off right. First trips of the year. [Hashtag] Livin it up.”

Riley confirmed her relationship during the July 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, shortly after she posted a PDA photo with her mystery man. She told host Andy Cohen she wasn’t quite ready to spill on her romance, despite the soft launch and being on a reality TV show.
“I think everyone knows I like to keep my life private, but now, you know,” she said. “I still try to keep my love life, you know, close to my heart.”

She also touched on the aforementioned photo, which showed her man kissing her on the cheek. Riley told Andy she was surprised by the amount of media coverage the mirror selfie had received, claiming she “didn’t know people would care.”
Her mom, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss, shared her 2 cents on the reaction to the headline-grabbing photo.
“This is the first time this has happened to her, so I sent it to our family group chat,” Kandi told Andy. “I said, ‘Riley, you made it! The blogs picked up your boyfriend!'”

Kandi also dished on Riley’s relationship during their joint appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s namesake talk show. The former Housewife admitted she was “shocked” after meeting Riley’s new man. Why? Well, because she “actually” liked him.

“I like him a lot,” Kandi said. “I love him because he’s smart, and he’s like really pushing her to do better. You know what I mean? He’s talking to her about saving [money]. Now [Riley] is ready to go back to school and get her dual degree and everything. I think that helps when you have a good influence around you, somebody who sees great things for you. And he has his own thing going on. He’s educated. He’s doing big things… I’m so much happier for the future.”
