Where Scheana Shay Stands with The Valley Cast (JANUARY 2026)

Scheana Shay is letting the world know she’s still close with The Valley cast… well, “some” of them, at least. The Vanderpump Rules alum shared the update in the January 9 episode of her Scheananigans podcast in which she answered fan-submitted questions. One of the inquiries was about Scheana’s relationship with The Valley cast members, all of whom she had known for years.

Is Scheana Shay still in touch with the cast of The Valley?

“Are you not as close with Brittany [Cartwright] and Janet [Caperna] anymore?” a listener asked.

“I am still good friends with all of them,” Scheana insisted. “I talked to Brittany the other day. I talked to Janet yesterday. I’m seeing Michelle [Saniei] on Thursday for dinner. Jasmine [Goode] and I hang out. Zack [Wickham], Kristen [Doute], I just talked to. So, they are still all of my friends.”

Scheana said she was also speaking to Nia Sanchez Booko and her husband, Danny Booko, who recently joined her at a Los Angeles Chargers game.

“They’re all very much in my life, and TBD, what happens with the future of The Valley and myself,” she added. “I just needed to step away for me, and I think time away from doing the show is really healing for me. But you never know what the future holds.”

Scheana Shay says she’s in her “healing era” after leaving reality TV

Scheana made several guest appearances on The Valley Season 2, which wasn’t too surprising, as the cast featured many of her friends from her Vanderpump Rules days. Scheana suggested she had no immediate plans to return to reality TV, as she found the career change beneficial to her mental health and relationships.

“I needed to make a change in my life, and I did that,” she said. “I walked away from what I’ve known as an adult and my career with reality with TV; that’s what I’ve done since I was 26 years old, and taking a step back from that last year gave me time to focus on myself, my relationship… I’m in my healing era, and I love it.”

Scheana Shay explains how she changed her approach to friendship

Scheana, who shares a 4-year-old daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, with her husband, Brock Davies, said she had spent the past year setting “boundaries” and reprioritizing her relationships. She told listeners she was trying “trying to focus less on managing” friendships “out of obligation”; she was instead putting more energy into “nurturing the ones that feel mutual, supportive and grounded.”

“I’ve also had to get more honest with myself about my capacity,” she said. “Just because I care about someone, it doesn’t mean that I can realistically show up for them in every season, and that’s OK. I’ve taken pressure off myself.”

She continued: “At this stage in my life, I’m choosing to protect my time and my energy a lot more. I’ve finally learned what boundaries are.”

The update came months after Scheana’s very public feud with her former castmate and longtime friend Lala Kent. Get more details about the ladies’ drama and whether it affected the bond between their young daughters.
