Stewardess Kizzi Kitchener is the latest Bravado crew member to find herself hurt on the job during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10, but this time Captain Sandy Yawn is forced to call for help during the above preview of Episode 17, airing Monday, Jan. 19.

As Kizzi holds ice on her foot in the crew mess, chief stew Aesha Scott hugs her and asks, “How did that happen overnight?”

“I accidentally kicked something,” Kizzi says before the show flashes back to her running near the galley, hitting a trash can, and yelling out in pain. “At 3:30 [a.m.], I woke up, and I was like, ‘F—k, it really hurts.'”

Aesha admits her concern that Kizzi might be unable to continue to work on the final charter of the season. “Oh f—king s—t. I really wish that we didn’t have such high maintenance charter guests,” she complains in a confessional inerview. “If Kizzi can’t work, we’ll just have to like, survive.”

Kizzi confirms Aesha’s fears as deckhand Joe Bradley walks into the crew mess, and Kizzi tells him, “I stubbed my toe. Just so painful. I don’t know how I’m going to work.”

Aesha, meanwhile, takes her concerns to Captain Sandy, and shares with her, “[Kizzi’s] been up since 3 because something’s wrong with her toe.”

Sandy hypothesizes, “Maybe she broke it,” and decides to speak to Kizzi herself. As she calls Kizzi on the radio, cameras capture Kizzi hopping on one foot up the yacht stairs and hobbling into the bridge.

“It’s a little bit swollen,” Kizzi admits as she shows Sandy her foot.

Sandy is immediately concerned, and replies, “Oh my god, yes! It’s very swollen. You need an x-ray.”

She then quickly grabs her phone and calls for help. “I have a crew member — her toe is really swollen. We need to get an x-ray, so I need to get her off the boat and get her to the doctor as soon as possible.”

How bosun Nathan Gallagher suffered an injury during Below Deck Med Season 10

Kizzi wasn’t the only one in pain during the charter season. On Season 10, Episode 15, Nathan found himself bleeding from the head after he attempted to show Joe how to work the remote control for the crane.

“The crane hook came in too close and smashed me in the face. After it hit me in the front, it kind of dropped down, came up, and hit me in the back. So, it was a double whammy,” he explained to producers in his confessional interview.

How the Below Deck Med Season 10 crew helped Max Salvador during a medical emergency

Max also found himself in trouble when he suffered his own medical emergency early in the season during Episode 2. As he admired the jellyfish swimming next to the superyacht, he decided to reach into the water off the swim platform and touch one.

When Aesha tried to warn him, “Is that not poisonous on top?” Max insisted it was fine — a moment later found out he was incorrect.

“Oh my gosh, it’s starting to spike me. I swear,” he frantically told Aesha, who called on the radio for Nathan to grab medical supplies.

He described the “burning” pain to Captain Sandy as “ouch, ouch, like tabasco in the eyes.” Cameras filmed Max plunging his face and eyes into the sink and running water to get rid of the pain.

ICYMI, Below Deck Med alum Hannah Ferrier revealed if she’d ever be a charter guest, and where she stands with Captain Sandy now.
