Mia recently spoke with The Daily Dish, where she opened up about her feelings about joining the cast of the new season. “I’m so nervous, but excited,” the Chicago native explained. “It’s so fun. And like, it’s crazy. If you would’ve asked me like a year ago if I was gonna be doing this, I’d be like, ‘No.’ But now that I’m doing it, I’m like ‘Oh my God. This is amazing.”
From there, Mia shared more about her connection to the Summer House cast, her career, her apartment, and her “incredibly supportive” boyfriend.

Mia is very close to Ciara, who lives in the same building as her in NYC. As Mia explained to The Daily Dish: “So Ciara’s one of my best friends. And we’re actually neighbors now. I moved into my building, I was like, ‘You have to move in here.’ So, now we see each other almost every day.”

Mia took to her own Instagram Story, where she re-posted Ciara’s kind words and added her own commentary. “We just ordered dinner, too,” she added. “[Ciara Miller] the BEST decision.”

“Everything I’ve had, it’s cause I built it and I’m so proud of myself and my job is — it’s a lot and my career is — it’s intense. And It’s a constant hustle and I work seven days a week, but I’m so incredibly proud of where I am today because I’ve worked so hard for the last six years of my life.”
Where does Mia Calabrese live?
Mia revealed how she made her NYC apartment all her own. “I like to say I created my little princess palace,” she explained to The Daily Dish. “Like, it’s minimal, but it still feels very cozy. And it just feels like home. I’m a Cancer, so when I’m in my house, I like it to feel safe and that’s my home. It’s like modern, minimal, but warm and cozy.”

Yes, she does. Mia has a “puppy,” which she frequently posts about on her Instagram account. “His name is Winston,” she said. “He’s so cute.”

She admitted that Scott even makes an appearance on Summer House Season 10. “He makes a few appearances,” she added. “He’s so incredibly supportive, and I told him I wanted to do this and I had this opportunity, and he was like, you should absolutely do it, which is such a green flag.”
