Kyle Richards’ 2026 birthday was extra celebratory.
For this year’s occasion, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member received a joint birthday party with her son-in-law, Jake Zingerman, husband of her second-eldest daughter, Alexia Umansky.

Kyle shared a peek at the small get-together in a couple of Instagram Stories originally shared by Alexia. The first clip showcased the charming yet playful tablescape in Kyle’s Encino dining room, which had been adorned with confetti, candlesticks, and colorful balloons.
Alexia then posted a video of Kyle and Jake standing with their arms around each other as they received their birthday desserts. Kyle and Jake were presented with a candle-lit chocolate cake and pie, respectively, as guests started to sing “Happy Birthday.”

“The two most special people,” Alexia captioned the video, followed by “111,” a reference to her mom and husband’s January 11 birthdays.
Once the song was over, Kyle and Jake took a few moments to make the customary birthday wish.
“OK, this is an important one, guys,” Kyle said before closing her eyes and leaning in to blow out the candles.
Attendees then applauded and cheered while Kyle did a little dance.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom shed more light on her birthday in her January 13 Amazon Live stream.
“How did I spend my special day? My daughters ordered Joe’s Stone Crab to the house,” she told viewers. “And I went on a walk/run. Met Jenn [Turner Leipart] here for some coffee, and just did that. It was relaxing because I had just gotten back. I was in Aspen and then in Nashville.”

Kyle’s birthday came roughly four months after Alexia and Jake got married in a beautiful Los Angeles ceremony inspired by one of Alexia’s favorite book series. Kyle opened up about her relationship with Jake during BravoCon 2025 back in November, admitting she was still getting used to the “son-in-law” term.
“You know, I never had a son, so [Jake is] just so sweet,” she told The Daily Dish, before referencing Alexia and Jake’s decades-long bond. “They’ve been best friends since they were in third grade, and I’ve known him forever, so it’s so nice to have him be a part of the family. He never passes by me without giving me a hug and saying, ‘I love you, Kyle.’ Every time he passes me. So, he’s just the sweetest.”

Alexia’s dad, Mauricio Umansky, also showed love to Jake in a 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, just months after Jake and Alexia got their own home together.
“We love Jake,” Mauricio told the outlet. “He’s awesome.”
