The heated debate reignited during Part 2 of the reunion, and after host Andy Cohen asked the ladies to explain why nobody filmed what happened on the plane, some previously unaired RHOSLC footage at least added some context to Meredith’s anger toward Heather Gay, specifically.

Heather had claimed that she “understood” why Meredith was upset on the return flight from their Below Deck Down Under charter, since Britani had brought up a TikTok that claimed Seth Marks allegedly had an affair behind her back.

“We were on your side,” Heather insisted at the reunion, but noted that her stance “tipped” in Britani’s favor as the drama “escalated.”

“No, you weren’t on my side,” Meredith fired back, “You weren’t on my side at breakfast that last morning. Because as we walked out of breakfast, I even said to you, ‘I am shocked that I didn’t have support from you this morning.'”

That’s when a clip of the unseen moment from the BDDU charter rolled, showing a snippet of Meredith and Heather’s post-breakfast conversation before they departed the yacht and headed to the airport.

“She deserves every ounce of what I said,” Meredith told Heather, referring to her earlier argument with Britani, in the video. “And the fact that you support her is disappointing.”

Heather, meanwhile, insisted, “I’m just trying to survive here,” to which Meredith replied, “I know. It’s just disappointing.”

Meredith Marks and Britani Bateman addressed unanswered questions from the plane incident

Back on the reunion stage, Meredith went on to share that her “feelings were hurt” by Heather, who then called her out for supposedly only being able to recall specific details from that day “whenever it serves” her narrative.

So, as the RHOSLC cast continued to debate exactly how the drama had played out, Andy asked Meredith to explain what, specifically, she was denying from “what that the women have said about what they say happened on the plane.”

“That I had direct engagement with Britani,” Meredith answered. “I was talking to Lisa [Barlow]. I didn’t touch Britani. The only time I had any contact was when Lisa was sleeping and I had to climb over her. So that was the only contact, verbal or physical, that I had with Britani on the plane.”

That led the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host to question why none of the ladies offered to switch seats with Britani, who was sitting in the row directly in front of Lisa and Meredith (see below).

“Because it’s almost a six-hour international flight. We were in full descent when it really started to get raucous,” Britani chimed in. “Even the flight attendants were checking on us. They were buckled in. We were nose down. I had just barely come back from the bathroom. They’re like, ‘Get to your seat.’ That’s when I came back to wine on my seat. That was when people started screaming at each other. It was too late.”

As for why she didn’t film the incident herself as proof, Britani explained, “Can you imagine if I had taken out my phone?”

Referencing a previous explosive Season 5 moment between her and Meredith, even Andy acknowledged, “The last time you took out your phone, it did not go well.”

Meredith Marks clarified the reason for her “fractured” friendship with Britani Bateman

Meredith ended RHOSLC‘s Jan. 20 episode by adding even more context to the drama that had been brewing between her and Britani long before they boarded their flight back to Utah.

“I think what’s really important here that’s going by the wayside is discussing why I have such a fractured relationship with Britani,” Meredith said, before detailing an off-camera meeting at beginning of production on Season 6.

At the center of the issue, according to Meredith, was that Britani had publicly “supported” their previously shared nail technician by honoring their request to write a positive review of their services, even after this person was publicly accused of “bigotry.” Meredith further claimed that when she confronted Britani about the situation, she was “nasty and condescending” towards her.

From Britani’s perspective, she’d handled the situation “exactly the right way,” elaborating that as soon she found out about the nail tech’s alleged “antisemitic” comments, she removed her review and cut ties with them.

In regard to her off-camera sit-down with Meredith, Britani admitted that she was initially “so pissed” about her castmate’s “hurtful” accusations. However, once she realized exactly “what it meant” to Meredith, she apologized profusely and tearfully held her castmate in her arms “like a baby” and “snuggled” her.

Meredith, meanwhile, denied Britani’s characterization of their meeting. As she saw it, Britani was simply making herself out to be the “victim” in the situation, hence why she was already “so upset” with her, heading into filming Season 6.

RHOSLC‘s Reunion Part 2 ended with Britani storming off the stage in tears, vehemently denying that she considered herself a “victim,” along with other accusations that Meredith made about her character.

As you await the conclusion of the RHOSLC reunion, get even more details on what happened between Meredith and Britani on the plane, according to them and their castmates.
