Trouble is brewing in the galley on the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 premiere (airing Monday, Feb. 2), and it’s all happening just in time for the epic crossover charter with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
In the above preview, tensions rise between Below Deck OG Chef Ben Robinson and sous chef Alesia Harris when she winds up burning a frittata. Making matters worse, the flub takes place just as Heather Gay calls Captain Jason Chambers to inform him that she and the rest of the Utah Housewives are on their way.
“How the f–k did that happen?” Ben asks as Alesia apologizes over the stovetop, quickly issuing a barrage of comments, orders, and how-tos to her as he starts preparing another dish for the charter’s special guests.
As he tells the fellow English cook, “It’s not exactly a great look. Yeah, babe, we cannot use stainless steel pans, alright, honeybun? We need to use a non-stick in the future, OK? With eggs, alright? Just get it in the trash. Get some of that egg mix, please. I usually just cook the bottom and then stick it in an oven. That wouldn’t have burnt it.”
Alesia’s face expresses displeasure over Ben’s approach to carrying out the new frittata, as he continues speaking: “I’d like you to bear witness to how genius this method is as opposed to what happened earlier, which was pretty much the f–k up of the century, in my opinion.”
It is here, as Ben sings “teach you how to cook, teach you how to cook,” that Alesia burns her hand and walks away in pain.

What can fans expect from the RHOSLC crossover with Below Deck Down Under?
Those tuning into Season 6 of RHOSLC saw a one-sided look at the charter, while the upcoming season of Below Deck Down Under — premiering Feb. 2 — will get to see events from the POV of the crew working on M/Y Katina.
A medical emergency by Angie Katsanevas, accusations about Britani Bateman’s romantic interests on board, and a ruined carpet in Heather’s room were just a few of the highlights from a turbulent expedition around Canouan, the Caribbean island part of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
But, according to Heather, the cast isn’t that worried about seeing their trip through the eyes of Below Deck Down Under audiences.
“We are fun guests, and we love the food, and the activities, and the boat,” Heather told Andy Cohen on Part 1 of the RHOSLC Season 6 reunion.
But Mary Cosby wasn’t as certain, adding, “I think maybe Heather and Whitney [Rose] might have something to worry about, especially after the cucumber.”
Thankfully, the mystery over which of the Housewives packed an oversized cucumber in their luggage was finally put to rest.
