Madison LeCroy Shares Update on Her Son, Hudson (JANUARY 2026)

Another day, another proud-momma moment for Madison LeCroy. The Southern Charm cast member took to Instagram this week to highlight her son Hudson’s latest accomplishment. Madison posted an email informing her that the 13-year-old boy had just received a big honor from his school: “Hudson is coming home with a Student of the Month award for Perseverance,” the letter read in part.

“Hudson continues to amaze me,” she captioned the January 27 Story. “I know I’m always bragging on him, but y’all have watched him grow up, and I can’t help but share just how special this boy is and the young man he’s becoming.”

The update came just a couple of weeks after Hudson was recognized for his academic performance. The Southern Charm son had gone from the A-B honor roll in seventh grade to the All-A honor roll in eighth grade — an achievement Madison made sure to celebrate on Instagram.

“All A Honor Roll, but more importantly, a good human,” she captioned the January 9 Instagram post, which included footage of Hudson receiving his honor roll ribbon. “I’m so proud of the young man you’re becoming it makes me emotional. You amaze me every single day, Hudson. I Love you!”

Madison LeCroy recalls an emotional, unseen Southern Charm moment

Madison shares Hudson with her ex Josh Hughes. She and her current husband, Brett Randle, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Teddi, on June 29, 2025, nearly three years after they got married.

Madison shed more light on her parenting style during the Parents’ Night Out panel at BravoCon 2025, when she recalled an unfortunate Southern Charm Season 9 incident involving Hudson.

“I loved seeing on Southern Charm when you were so protective of [Hudson],” moderator Kate Chastain told Madison. “I actually cried. Did you guys remember that scene, where some boy was mean to him?”

Madison immediately became emotional when reflecting on the Season 9, Episode 7 moment.

“All right, I’m too hormonal for this s–t,” she quipped. “No, I’m kidding. I will start crying. No, that was honestly — if you guys have watched our show, my son got bullied one year and walked in, and he was all beat up. And I just lost it.”

Madison LeCroy says there’s “lost footage” of Hudson’s bullying incident

Madison said viewers didn’t get to see the events that unfolded after Hudson came home with scratches and bruises; however, she revealed that cameras captured the aftermath.

“I will say, Bravo, if you are listening to this, we want the lost footage of that,” she continued. “Because I went to their house.”

Madison didn’t provide details on how the confrontation went down, but it’s safe to assume she was in full mama bear mode.

The multi-hyphenate touched on Hudson’s altercation during a 2023 appearance on It’s a Bravo World, explaining what was going through her mind when Hudson came home with injuries.

“Many people know that I’m not a crier. You’ve probably never seen me cry on camera,” she said. “I was crying not only for him but because of how much anger I had and how mad I was… They could’ve made a whole season out of that one day because there was a whole other part that everyone didn’t get to see; that was me trying to get to the bottom of what had happened.”
