Below Deck Down Under alum Brianna Duffield (sort of) returned during a Season 4 moment that revealed her friendship with Alesia Harris is still going strong.

Amid multiple heated conflicts with chef Ben Robinson in the galley, Alesia stepped away and called Bri for some support toward the end of Season 4, Episode 2.

“I love Bri. She’s part of my really core circle in my heart,” Alesia explained to a producer. “And it’s not easy to stay friends after the season, ’cause it’s so high-paced. But I feel like I could call Bri [at] any moment. I feel like everyone could do with a Bri in their lives.”

Case in point: The former Katina stew was a sounding board for Alesia, who tearfully filled her in on the “f–king nightmare” she’d been experiencing in her new role as sous chef.

Bri’s take? “This early on, it’s a major red flag, and you can’t keep yourself in a pressure cooker like that,” she told Alesia. “Take a deep breath. I’m here with you. We’ll get through this together.”

As the two continued to talk through the dilemma, Bri pointed out that if Alesia wanted to leave, she could talk to Captain Jason Chambers: “Whatever you think is best for Bean, that’s what you need to do.”

If hearing the former stew’s voice made you wonder what she has been doing since Below Deck Down Under Season 3 wrapped, read on for some major updates on Bri’s life today.

Brianna Duffield is now engaged — but not to Harry Van Vliet

As viewers might recall, Bri was officially in a relationship with deckhand Harry Van Vliet at the end of Below Deck Down Under Season 3, but they broke up a few months after filming wrapped.

“After traveling the world together, Harry and I remain great friends,” Bri previously told The Daily Dish in a May 2025 interview. “We keep in contact, and he gives me great travel recommendations.”

Fast-forward to January 2026, and Bri was announcing her engagement to a man named Davino. His surprise marriage proposal took place in Aruba, where they had actually first met five years earlier and appear to live full-time now.

“Years later, we returned… fuller, wiser, shaped by distance, growth, lessons, and love — and here, in the very place it all started, we chose forever,” she captioned her Jan. 2 Instagram post, in part, before going on to lovingly praise her new fiancé. “From where we began, to where we are now — a true full circle moment, a forever kind of love, and the greatest “yes” of my life.”

Bri also took to social media in August 2025 to share some updates on her career after Below Deck Down Under.

After noting in an IG caption that she “never used” her health sciences degree (despite graduating magna cum laude), the New Jersey native wrote, “I spent years as a high fashion model and still take jobs when I feel like it — but I don’t depend on it.”

She added, “I was (and still sometimes am) a superyacht stewardess, exploring the world by sea and living a life most people only see in movies. … I recently got into medical school & have deferred until I knew I was ready to commit my life to it.”

Inside Brianna Duffield’s friendships with the Below Deck Down Under cast

It turns out that Alesia and Harry are hardly the only fellow yachties whom Bri stayed in touch with after Below Deck Down Under Season 3, as she’s also documented several behind-the-scenes looks at her post-filming hangouts on Instagram.

Chef Ben, Lara Rigby, and Adair Werley are among the former and current Below Deck Down Under cast members that Brianna has also posted photos with on her IG over the past several months.

Most recently, Bri has also spent time with some people in the (slightly) wider Bravo universe, including Below Deck Mediterranean stew Cathy Skinner, as well as charter guest Brandon McLaughlin, who appeared on Below Deck Down Under Season 2, as well as on Below Deck Season 11.

Bri even uploaded a Cathy “appreciation post” on Feb. 5, sharing pics from their night out on the town in Washington D.C., last month. “Forever grateful for this friendship,” Bri captioned the post, in part, and Cathy commented, “I’m so grateful to have met you and have this beautiful friendship and can’t wait to see it flourish.”

As you wait to see how Bri’s advice affected Alesia’s decision about leaving, get a sneak peek at what else to expect on Below Deck Down Under Season 4.
