Amanda Frances Sheds New Light on “Odd” Sutton Stracke Fight

Amanda Frances was “baffled” when Sutton Stracke called her a “wimp” during her dinner party on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Amanda revisited her and Sutton’s drama that played out on Season 15, Episode 9, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, and shed new light on their tense exchange in the process.

“She says, ‘Don’t be a wimp,’ and I say, ‘Don’t talk to me that way at my house,’ because it was just a dig,” she recalled. “We had managed to not do any name-calling yet, and I try to avoid that, as an adult high-functioning woman.”

At the center of the heated dinner discussion was Amanda’s role in an argument between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley about the latter’s handling of her divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley. Sutton and several of the other ladies had accused Amanda of “deflecting” blame onto Kyle, instead of copping to her own stated opinion (more on that below).

“I thought I was conveying how things happened, in the order in which they happened in my heart and my intention, because that matters,” Amanda explained. “Listen, I could have told the whole thing without mentioning Kyle, but, like, in my experience, that’s how it happened.”

She added, “If people show up to someone’s dinner party looking to pick apart and shine a light on everything someone could’ve done different or better, like, one, that’s odd behavior. And two, if you’re looking for stuff, you’re gonna find it. They wanted to draw out more of how they perceive I did something wrong.”

Claiming that the other women did not have “the intention to resolve, clear things up, and get on the same page,” Amanda continued, “I had yet to have a conversation about this matter where we, like, wanted to understand each other.”

Sutton Stracke shared her reaction to her argument with Amanda Frances

Elsewhere on the RHOBH After Show, Jennifer Tilly asked Sutton if she really called Amanda a wimp “to her face.”

Sutton’s response? “Yeah. I usually say things to their faces. I don’t hide.”

She also doubled down on her claim that Amanda had “pushed” the blame and then “snuck away,” once she “got to witness that altercation” between Kyle and Dorit during the Episode 8 birthday dinner.

Why Sutton Stracke called Amanda Frances a “wimp” on RHOBH

The tense debate on RHOBH‘s Feb. 12 episode kicked off when Amanda shared that she was “struggling with the situation” with Dorit, who was away in the Hamptons with Kyle and Rachel Zoe when she hosted the dinner at her newly remodeled home.

So, Sutton decided to give Amanda some unsolicited advice on “how to fix it,” telling her that she needed to “cop to” talking about Dorit and PK’s marriage, as well as having her own opinion on the matter, instead of continuing to maintain that she was “just repeating Kyle.”

As the conversation continued, Amanda eventually told Sutton that she’d made her point “really, really clear,” prompting the latter to reply, “Well, I’m gonna say it again and again and again. Now you’ve got Dorit and Kyle going at each other.”

Amanda, meanwhile, fired back that she didn’t think it was “fair” to blame her for Kyle and Dorit’s friendship rift.

“I will apologize for anything that I feel I’m actually in the wrong for, but I am not gonna apologize for this,” she added in a confessional. “This is not my fault.”

Back at the dinner table, Amanda began explaining why “intention matters,” when Sutton chimed in, “You can’t be such a wimp. Come on.”

Amanda, for her part, responded, “Hey, you’re in my home. Don’t call me a wimp, please.”
