It turns out that The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant both recently found love in the legislative branch of government.
During Season 10’s Reunion Part 2, host Andy Cohen brought up that the “word on the street” was that Ashley was “dating a politician,” as she previously revealed in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish. Though she confirmed that to be true, she updated him that the romance had since ended.
That’s when the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host turned to Gizelle and asked if she knew “this person” that Ashley dated.

“I did,” Gizelle answered, before admitting, “I thought she was talking about me, because I was dating a congressman. So, I thought that was me. I was confused.”
Stunned by the news that Gizelle dated a congressman, Andy asked for more details.
“Now I’m telling on myself,” she joked, sharing only that the relationship happened “after the season” wrapped filming. “The congressman would never be on camera. I mean, clearly.”
Why Stacey Rusch called out Ashley Darby for dating a politician
Before Ashley could even answer Andy’s question, Stacey Rusch immediately chimed in to say that it was “impossible” that she could have been dating a politician, adding, “Not with your history.”
Ashley defended herself, however, declaring that she is “an upstanding, beautiful woman.” So, Stacey brought up Ashley’s kiss with her friend Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s 27-year-old son, Jackson, to support her argument to the contrary.

Ashley dismissed Stacey’s comment in the moment, because she had already cleared the air on the matter, moments earlier. By her account, Jackson “of course” initiated the “smooch,” and she insisted that kissing is as far as they went. Ashley remained confused, however, why Charrisse claimed to be “uncomfortable” about what happened, after the fact.
“Charrisse has told me numerous times that she wants me to date her son,” Ashley explained. “She would say it all the time.”
Gizelle, meanwhile, supported Ashley’s version of events, further claiming that Charrisse even “calls Ashley her daughter-in-law.”

That wasn’t the only criticism of Ashley’s dating life that she faced on Part 2 of the RHOP reunion, either. Within the same segment, Andy also addressed Ashley’s “situationship” with Josh Gudenburr, before asking where they stand these days.
“Um, Josh and I, we hang out quite a bit. We do,” she answered. “I am dating Josh.”
Once again, Stacey blasted Ashley, reminding her that she “broke up with this man on camera” during Season 10. She and Wendy Osefo also alleged that Ashley “humiliated” Josh in doing so, hence their shock that the two were still dating.
As you might recall, Ashley ended things with Josh on camera, citing his lack of financial resources and their opposing views on her having more children.
After some intense back and forth on the subject, Ashley finally set the record straight on the timeline of her and Josh’s on-camera breakup and subsequent reconciliation. According to Ashley, she’d actually privately called off her romance with Josh before they shot their conversation that viewers saw on RHOP.
“We sat in the car, and I broke up with Josh two nights before,” Ashley claimed. “He asked me to get back together the next day. The following day was when we filmed the scene, OK? … My feelings were still the same, and Josh wanted to go out. I said, ‘It has to be on camera.’ That is how that situation went.”
