Grab those sparklers, because things are already popping off at Republic in the above first look at the Southern Hospitality Season 4 premiere (airing Wednesday, March 4).

The preview begins with VIP host Lake Rucker spotting a familiar face before immediately running inside to find Assistant General Manager Michols Peña. “If I got fired, I would not show my face,” she says.

The fired employee in question? Molly Moore. “Did you miss me?” she asks TJ Dinch behind the bar before explaining the alleged reasoning for her termination in a confessional interview. “If you would have asked me a year ago if my life is where it is right now, I would cry and laugh. I no longer work at Republic. I knew personal stuff about Michols. And he used bulls—t reasons to get me fired.”

This is apparently in spite of the fact that she’s “never been written up,” Molly later adds.

Michols, however, sees things differently. “She got fired because she sucked at her job,” he says in a confessional of his own. “And somehow I have something to do with it. Girl, I don’t have that much power!”

Regardless, the two are no longer on good terms. As he puts it, “Molly and I’s friendship was fine up until her firing. All of a sudden, she’s going around, talking s—t about me, saying that I cheated on my ex-boyfriend, and this, that and the third.”

Where the Southern Hospitality cast’s friendships stand on the Season 4 premiere

Emmy Sharrett, Bradley Carter and TJ Dinch are on the outs

The tension is palpable between Emmy Sharrett, TJ and Bradley Carter as the first look at Southern Hospitality’s Season 4 premiere continues, with TJ rolling his eyes while Emmy greets Republic employees ahead of her shift.

“Since New York, I do not talk to TJ and Brad. At all. And it’s sad,” Emmy reveals. “TJ was just, you know, my gay best friend, and Brad was like this big brother to me. Like, I definitely miss them, but it’s like, show your true colors motherf—kers.”

Brad sheds more light on why he and Emmy have had a falling out, and it has to do with the Season 3 rumors that Emmy’s fiancé Will Kulp was cheating on her.

“Because I looked into seeing if Will cheated or not, I’m the villain in Emmy’s story,” Bradley explains. “And I think the thing that hurts the most is that this is coming from someone I called a close friend. This is someone that I really, really loved and cared for. So, for her to paint me out to be something that I’m not, is like excruciating.”

He admits he’s also upset with Emmy over comments she and Will made on the podcast The Viall Files four months prior. As he tells TJ, “Today, I went on a long walk, and I listened to that podcast again. And it got me like f—king fired up.”

Producers flash back to the podcast, as host Nick Viall asks if the couple actually thinks any of their Southern Hospitality castmates are “evil.”

“Yeah, I think Brad enjoys inflicting pain on others,” Will says, and Emmy chimes in, “He’s so good at lying, we forgot the truth.”

Maddi Reese and Bradley Carter are feuding

After Will dropped a major bombshell involving Maddi Reese’s ex Trevor Stokes during a hot mic moment in the Southern Hospitality Season 3 finale, Bradley and Maddi Reese’s friendship fell apart.

In case you need a refresher, Emmy explained the revelation as, “We had to tell Maddi the truth that Trevor never cheated [on her with] Samie, and that Brad made it all up,” referring to a rumor that Trevor had kissed a woman named Samie in Season 2.

During the first look at the Season 4 premiere, Bradley says, “I feel terrible for lying about Maddi’s ex-boyfriend cheating on her, but I apologized to Maddi at the reunion. So, we’re good.”

Maddi, however, quickly squashes that assessment. “Brad and I are not good at all,” she tells producers. “I mean, since the reunion, he hasn’t tried to reach out, or tried to make amends. I don’t think he understands the magnitude of how much this hurt me.”

Michols Peña is upset with Joe Bradley

Maddi updates producers during the first look that she’s been absent for a few months from Republic, and it’s due to her soaring DJ career.

“I’ve been on a 40-show plus tour. Multiple cities a weekend. It was a lot,” she reveals. “I am over airports, suitcases, buses. And I’m so excited to be back in Charleston, because it’s like my comfy little sweatshirt.”

But it turns out Maddi wasn’t alone during the tour, and was instead joined by her boyfriend Joe Bradley — causing tension between the VIP host and Michols.

“I mean, for the past six months, Joe has barely been here,” Michols complains to producers, and jokes, “If I had a dollar for every time Joe didn’t show up for work because he’s busy following Maddi on tour, I’d have a real tennis bracelet on. Opposed to cubic zirconia!”
