Kandi Burruss and Kim Zolciak crossed paths at BravoCon 2025, when Kandi accepted the Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos. But Kandi is sharing where they stand today after she accepted that award and saw Kim crying in the audience during her acceptance speech.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, Feb. 22, where she admitted that she did see Kim in the audience while she accepted her award. Kandi noted to Andy Cohen that she was a little surprised by this. “I was touched, honestly,” Kandi said.
But this didn’t inspire her to reconnect with the RHOAÂ alum. “We haven’t talked since then. But I would have to say honestly, I was touched.”
Kandi continued, recognizing that she, Kim, and all of the RHOA alums have contributed so much to the franchise over the past 16 seasons. “I was shocked that she was so emotional, but, at the same time, you know, we all put into the franchise and I felt that it was very cool that we could all contribute to that moment,” she noted.

Although Kandi didn’t spend time with Kim at BravoCon, she has been open to the possibility of reconnecting with her. This is because Kandi’s daughter, Riley Burruss, is friends with Kim’s daughter, Ariana Biermann, after they reconnected on Next Gen NYC Season 1.
“I don’t see Kim ever,” Kandi admitted during a July 2025 episode of WWHL, where she appeared alongside Riley. “But, because Riley and Ariana are friends, I would say Kim.”
During the episode, Riley was optimistic about Kandi reuniting with Kim, giving the likelihood of their reunion a “seven” out of 10. Kandi, however, was a little less optimistic, giving it a “two” out of 10.

This possible reunion, however, is something that both Ariana and Riley have talked about. Riley and Ariana spoke with The Daily Dish in June 2025, where they opened up about this reunion. “I know my mom wants to, you know, reconnect, and we all want to do dinner or something together,” Riley said.
“I feel like we could definitely bring them and reconnect them together,” Ariana added.

It wasn’t just Kim who teared up at Kandi’s speech during BravoCon 2025. Kandi revealed during Sunday night’s episode of WWHL that there were so many Bravolebrities who came up to her that night at The Bravos. “As soon as I got there that night, everybody from every franchise was showing me love, and I was like, ‘Wow.’ I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was super happy. It was nice how everyone was being so loving,” she said.
But aside from that, Kandi didn’t spend too much time at the convention in Las Vegas. Instead, there were other things occupying her time. “I was gambling the whole weekend. I was winning,” she admitted, before revealing she won “a few thousand” each night. “I was having a good time.”

She did, however, speak to Porsha Williams at BravoCon. “I did talk to her a couple of times that night, and throughout the times, I still talk to Porsha,” she explained. “Because we both have kids. So, you know, we hit each other up for the kid parties and stuff.”
