Malia White has experienced a lot of change over the past year. The Below Deck Mediterranean alum moved in with her partner, Robert, to a home in London, pivoted careers, and welcomed her first child into the world in early February 2026.
Malia spoke with The Daily Dish on Feb. 12, shortly after giving birth to her daughter, where she opened up about what brought her and Robbie to East London. “Robbie’s Welsh, and I was kind of based in Florida, so we just decided that London was kind of easier for both of our jobs in yachting, you know, a lot of Med-based,” she explained. “But I like it here so far.”
“We just bought a house,” she continued. “We were the couple that decided to remodel our kitchen right when the baby was coming. So I think we finished on a Monday, she was born on Tuesday, it was hectic.”

Although she admitted that the timing of this decision to make renovations was not ideal, it made their kitchen that much more beautiful. “So the kitchen before had no island. We had a little table. And it was kind of an older kitchen, older appliances. So we ripped everything out and did it from scratch,” she explained. “And Robbie kind of designed it with Naked Kitchens. And it’s beautiful now. And I can tell you, having a new kitchen with brand new appliances is the best thing right before the baby comes.”
Malia took to her Instagram Story shortly after the baby was born, where she showed off all of the delicious food that Robbie had been cooking for her in their brand new kitchen.

Malia White opens up about her daughter’s nursery at her home in London
The yachtie also revealed that they transformed their spare bedroom in their home into a nursery for their little girl. “We’re in East London: hip, fun place. We get the spare bedroom all set up for friends to come, and then a couple of months later, I found out I was pregnant,” she said.
“But it’s great. It’s a cute little nursery. It still could be a cute little guest room with a tinge of baby stuff. It’s kind of a nursery slash guest room,” she added.
Malia White reveals why living in London has been “challenging” for her
Although Malia is so happy with their home, she admitted to The Daily Dish that it’s “been really challenging” living in London, “at times. Especially with the nature of our work,” she noted, as Robbie still works in yachting.
“But he’s got family here that I’ve become very close with. And I’ve got yachtie friends here. So that’s great,” she noted. “I think that’s the one thing about yachting is you’ve got friends all over the place. And a lot of them are from the UK. But yeah, just trying to build my new community here.”
