We have new insight into Maddi Reese and Joe Bradley’s relationship. The Southern Hospitality cast members and Republic employees have been dating for more than a year and just shared some major updates about their relationship on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Yes, they are still going strong.
Both Maddi and Joe appeared as guests on WWHL on Wednesday, March 18, where they revealed that they are still dating and that they have officially adopted a dog together. “We just got a dog!” Maddi exclaimed.
“Me and Maddi just got a mini Bernedoodle,” Joe added.
Joe took to TikTok on March 1, where he introduced the dog to his followers. In the video, Joe can be seen wearing a trench coat, walking with the adorable little dog. Days later, on March 9, Maddi took to her own TikTok account where she revealed that they named the dog Ozzy. In the video, he can be seen watching TV, running through the kitchen, and sleeping on Maddi’s pillow. “I’m a motherrrrr, Ozzy the [Bernedoodle],” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Maddi also took to Instagram on March 4, where she posted a series of photos of herself and Ozzy standing in the middle of the streets of Charleston together. “Season 4 is here….good thing dogs are loyal,” she captioned the fierce snapshots.

Although things are good between Joe and Maddi, during Southern Hospitality Season 4, Episode 2, Maddi referred to her ex-boyfriend, Trevor Stokes, as her “soulmate.” During their appearance on WWHL, Joe admitted that hearing Maddi say that about Trevor was hard to hear, but he does not fault her for that.
“Yeah, I’m gonna be honest, that sucks to hear that,” he said. “I’ve been in relationships where I knew it wasn’t real, looking in hindsight, but in the moment, I thought it was a soulmate. But I think you grow up and time goes on, you get out of that love vortex that you think is love, and it’s not, and I think she knows now.”
Maddi agreed. “I’m very grateful for what I know now. I have the most supportive, amazing boyfriend,” she stated.

But getting a dog is just Joe and Bradley taking another step in their relationship. The couple spoke with PEOPLE on March 5, where they teased that viewers will see them having some serious discussions about their future on Southern Hospitality Season 4. “I definitely think that buying a home and living together is our next step, and you’ll see that go down this season,” Maddi explained.
“I think our biggest problem, or mine personally, has been always comparing myself to other people and other couples,” Joe added. “The timeline — what comes first, the chicken or the egg, the ring, the house, marriage, a kid, a puppy. So we’ve never really planned anything with our lives. I think we’re also just rolling with the punches and figuring it out, feeling it out. We’re not the type of couple that’s going to make a five-year plan, but we are getting to that point where we’re like, alright, what do we do next?”
