Andy Cohen is sharing some major details about The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. The newest Housewives franchise premieres on Bravo in April, and the Real Housewives executive producer is teasing all that is to come from it.
Andy appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, April 12, where he admitted that he anticipates that viewers are going to love RHORI. “Your next show in the queue, by the way, is going to be The Real Housewives of Rhode Island because it’s going to hit you like a ton of bricks in the best possible way,” he said. “You’re going to absolutely love it.”
He reiterated this in a March 15 interview with Deadline, where he revealed that RHORI is giving him “everything that I love in Housewives.” “There is not a dud episode in the bunch. You’re going to love it. And I’m not overhyping,” he told the publication.

Andy continued, teasing the dynamic between the RHORI Season 1 cast members. “The women are all stars. They are the drama,” he noted. “It’s our smallest state, and they all seem to know each other, or be related, or went to high school together, or all of the above. They’re all in each other’s lives, and it’s super dramatic.”
During WWHL on Monday, March 16, Andy revealed that RHORI cast member, Ashley Iaconetti, who appeared on TV in the past, is “so brilliant” on RHORI Season 1. He confirmed that Ashley also gets emotional throughout the first season. “She cries multiple times an episode on the Rhode Island housewives,” he noted. “She goes full throttle.”

Andy Cohen shares new details about the setting of Rhode Island as a Real Housewives location
Andy told Deadline that the seaside location of Rhode Island also contributes to making a “great” first season. “It’s also serving as a destination, in the way that Housewives should in that I really want to go to Rhode Island in the summer,” he said.
“It’s the ocean state. It’s beautiful,” he added. “We shot it in the summer. It’s all water, and it’s just great.”

When does The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premiere?
RHORIÂ premieres on Bravo on Thursday, April 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Starting on Sunday, April 5, the series will move to the regular time slot on Sundays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
