A 41-year-old Wisconsin woman has been accused of killing a 14-year-old who was found when deputies responded to a welfare check last week.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office said it went to the Beloit home just before 8 a.m. on Friday and found the teen dead.
They identified Tyiece L. Oninski as a suspect and arrested her.
Oninski was charged with first degree intentional homicide.
The sheriff’s office provided no further information, including describing how Oninski was connected with the dead teen or who requested the welfare check.
According to the Beloit Daily News, Oninski has previously faced battery, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer, domestic abuse, bail jumping and more in recent years.
