Kyle Richards is shedding some new light on her first marriage to her ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie, and her current marriage to Mauricio Umansky. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and Guraish welcomed their daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, into the world before getting divorced after a short marriage. She later married Mauricio. And now, Kyle is sharing how Farrah was impacted by that today.
Kyle appeared on the podcast, The Bossticks, on March 30, where she took a moment to “brag” about her oldest daughter, who is also “down to earth.” And by doing so, she opened up about her marriage to Guraish and her humble beginnings with Mauricio.
“Even though obviously her dad was successful, had a lot of money, and then I married Mauricio, she had amazing dads by the way, to be clear. Two amazing dads,” she admitted during the episode. “But when Mau and I first got married, we didn’t have any money, that was very much ingrained in her, and we would tell her, one day we’re going to have a house, but we have enough cushions in the bank.”

Kyle and Mauricio then went on to have three daughters together and stay married for 27 years before they confirmed in October 2023 that they had separated. Kyle admitted during the podcast episode that she and Mauricio are “not legally separated,” and still in a good place today.
“Every separation is different,” she noted. “Every divorce is different. Every relationship is different. And, you know, this is just working for us so far. And I say so far because obviously we’re not going to stay in this gray area.”

Kyle has previously opened up about her first marriage to Guraish on RHOBH and on podcasts over the years. The mom of four appeared on Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald in March 2017, where she revealed that she first met Guraish at a Tina Turner concert when she was 19 years old before they got married in a very small wedding ceremony.
But, Kyle admitted that she struggled with being a wife and being married so young. “I struggled with the married part. Now I’ve got the wife part down, but that’s hard to be a wife at that age,” she said during the episode. “Eventually I couldn’t do it and I left, and I felt guilty for so long. I felt so bad. I was just too young to be married. We’re still friends and he’s still friends with my husband.”
