Molly O’Connell has changed up her look after Southern Charm Season 11. Molly recently shared how she refreshed her long, blonde locks just in time for spring.

Molly took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a selfie directly from the salon chair. In the photo, Molly can be seen making a face at the camera while she has foils woven throughout the top of her head. The musician took to the caption of the post where she admitted that she was getting a refresh done from her longtime hairstylist, based in Columbia, South Carolina, Kira Kowalski. “Extension removal and highlights with [Kira Kowalski],” she wrote over the photo.

She then proceeded to show the “after” of her hair transformation. In the selfie, Molly can be seen posing for a mirror selfie, showing off her brighter color and “new extensions,” she wrote over the photo.

Molly O’Connell reflects on her short hair transformation on America’s Next Top Model

Although Molly is very happy with her long blonde hair, there was a time when she had it all chopped off. She appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December 2024, where she opened up about her time as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 16 when she had a curly blonde weave sewn into her head before getting it cut into a short pixie style during the finale.

Molly admitted that she had only cut her hair because she thought she was going to win the show. But then, she didn’t win. “One thousand percent, I thought I was gonna win,” she explained during the episode. “I was like, ‘Oh! I’m gonna get that $100k and I’m gonna buy myself extensions…And then, 45 minutes after they cut my hair off, they were like, ‘OK, you go home. You lose.’ So I went home with a Leonardo DiCaprio circa Titanic bowl cut.”

Molly appeared on the podcast So Bad It’s Good with Ryan Bailey in January, where she admitted that she considers the experience a lesson. “No one is ever making me cut my hair again,” she admitted during the episode.
