Robyn Dixon has officially gotten tattooed again ahead of her return to The Real Housewives of Potomac, for a very special reason. Robyn, who is set to make her return to RHOP in Season 11 as a friend, got her first tattoo in honor of her husband Juan Dixon (more on that down below), and just got tattooed in honor of her oldest son, Corey Dixon.
Robyn explained all of the details on the new ink on her podcast, which she co-hosts with RHOP cast member, Gizelle Bryant, Reasonably Shady. The mom of two, who also has a 16-year-old son, Carter Dixon, took to the podcast on April 6, where she revealed what she got inked on her skin alongside Corey, who got his first tattoo during the appointment.
“It’s Roman numerals, the Roman numeral three. And then in between the numerals is an Aries ram symbol. And then the next Roman numeral is 21,” she explained during the episode. “And so that’s Corey’s birthday. Corey and I are both Aries.”
When Corey turned 18 years old last month, he got the same tattoo. This was “kind of a compromise” for the teen, as Robyn revealed that basketball players his age are getting “full sleeves” of tattoos. “We went and got matching tattoos, or got mother-son tattoos,” she explained. “So he has the same tattoo. His is three, and then a ram symbol, and then 31 in Roman numerals.”

Robyn got a matching tattoo with Juan during RHOP Season 5, which was her first tattoo. At the time, Robyn and Juan were divorced but had gotten back together (they later tied the knot for a second time in 2022). “Early on, I was like, ‘I’m not getting your name, your initials, like, nothing,'” she explained during an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show Season 5. “But we’ve grown so much to get to a better place.”
Robyn and Juan ended up deciding on getting two interlocking hearts tattooed in order to make her feel like “our relationship, it really is like we are connected forever. Hearts mean love,” she continued.

However, Robyn has just a few more years until her youngest son, Carter Dixon, turns 18 and decides to get a tattoo. She shared more about this during the April 6 episode of the podcast, noting that she’s unsure about his stance on permanent ink.
“I feel like Carter will not really want a tattoo anytime soon. But if he felt a certain type of way about me having a matching tattoo with his dad and a matching tattoo with his brother, and he’s like, ‘Well, where am I?’ Then I would probably put Carter…like right on my wrist or something,” she explained. “And whether he wants to get it as well or not, it’s up to him. But he has to wait til he’s 18.”
