Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney are in a very good place today. The Valley cast member and his ex-wife were married for five years prior to their 2022 divorce and have continued to maintain a very strong friendship.
Tom appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, April 22, where he revealed that they are doing “great” and still co-parenting their dogs, Butter and Gordo, and he even gets along with her boyfriend (more on that below). “She has the dogs right now! Katie has the dogs right now,” he told host Andy Cohen, as seen in the video above. “I love to see her thriving,”
Tom had previously shared an update on his relationship with Katie during a panel appearance at BravoCon 2025. “I love Katie so much. I feel like great friends,” he recalled in November 2025. “I see her on a pretty regular basis when she picks up the dogs, and she’s very much in love. She’s thriving, she’s killing it. I love Katie.”

As it turns out, Tom has met Nick and really likes him. Tom appeared on Lala Kent’s podcast in October 2025, where he told her about his feelings about Nick. “I love her boyfriend,” he said during the episode. “He’s a literal rockstar, and he’s just cool as s–t. And they seem so happy and in love. I don’t know the intricacies of their relationship, but it makes me so happy to see [Katie] happy. It really does, and I have so much love for her.”

Nick and Katie are so close in their relationship. The couple has traveled around the world together and continues to show their love for one another today. Nick took to his Instagram Story in January, on the Vanderpump Rules alum’s birthday, where he opened up about their relationship.
“Appreciative every single day that you were brought into this world & that I get to share this life with you,” he wrote in the post to Katie. “You’ve brought an immense amount of light [and] love into mine — and I know I speak for countless others that you have done the same for them. I love you so much.”
