Portia Umansky attended her senior prom over the weekend, and her mom, Kyle Richards, has some thoughts about this. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter was a toddler during RHOBH Season 1, and just celebrated a major milestone in her senior year of high school.
Kyle took to an Amazon Prime Livestream on Tuesday, April 28, where she revealed more about the prom weekend festivities at her family’s house in Encino after sending Portia off to prom. She further shared that someone brought her a little gold bracelet with the letter “P” in the middle to Portia’s pre-prom celebration. “I thought that was so sweet,” Kyle admitted.
Kyle’s second youngest daughter, Sophia Umansky, took to TikTok earlier this week, where she revealed Kyle was hosting Portia’s pre-prom activities at their house.Â

Sophia also took to her Instagram Story to post a photo of herself hugging Portia. Portia looked absolutely stunning in her chic, shiny black prom dress, adorned with light pink, gold, and green flowers. “[Portia]’s prom was this weekend,” Kyle wrote over the reposted photo, along with an eyes-welling and double pink heart emoji.

Now that prom is out of the way, Portia can focus on graduating from high school and attending college. But, Sophia admitted in her TikTok post that Portia has not yet chosen or announced what college she will be attending. “I don’t know where she’s going to end up, but I feel like she has some really good options,” Sophia revealed.
“I’m honestly really excited for her, college was one of the most fun experiences ever,” the George Washington University alum continued. “I know she’s gonna love it, but she’s way more independent than I ever was, so she’s gonna thrive.”

Kyle Richards admits she wants Portia Umansky to be “happy” with her college decision
Kyle reiterated that Portia is still trying to find the perfect school for her during a March 17 Amazon Live stream. While Kyle admitted that Portia has found so many schools that “she loves,” she admitted that Portia has been “having a hard time making a decision” in picking a school.
“It’s a big decision, she’s a really smart girl,” Kyle explained. “So part of her is like, ‘I should go to these schools, that’s impressive.’ But then she’s like, ‘That’s not really my vibe in that town or that city.’ So, for me, I just want her to be happy. So we’re trying to find the place she’ll be the happiest.”
