The Valley cast member, Tom Schwartz, is revealing if he would ever want to open a bar with BFF Tom Sandoval again. The Vanderpump Rules alums opened their first bar, Tom Tom, in 2018, before following it up by opening Schwartz & Sandy’s in 2022, before closing it for good at the end of 2024. Â Tom Schwartz spoke with The Daily Dish in April, where he admitted that he would not want to work in the industry with Tom Sandoval again. But he would want to work with him in a different capacity.Â
“I don’t think I would ever open a bar with Tom again,” he said in our exclusive chat. “But I hope to work with him again ’cause I love Tom. And we do have a really good collaborative energy. I enjoy working with Tom. We’re so different, but we’re also a lot alike. I feel like we really balance each other out. We really do. But I hope someday we can work together in some capacity. You know what I mean?”
Tom Schwartz opens up about his other business ventures with Tom Sandoval
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval didn’t just open two bars together. They also launched Tom’s Good Lovin’ whiskey in 2021 and toyed with the idea of relaunching it in 2024. Tom Schwartz admitted to The Daily Dish that he would love to relaunch it in the future.
“We had a bourbon and a whiskey. Maybe we can resurrect that someday,” he explained. “We kind of had to put that on ice, or put that to rest indefinitely, so there are some beautiful bottles gathering dust on a shelf somewhere. But maybe we’ll dust off Tom’s Good Lovin’ and resurrect that brand or something.”

Tom Sandoval makes a statement on the closing of Schwartz & Sandy’s
Tom Sandoval appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 3, where he admitted that he is “working on” paying his mom back for her investment in the now-closed bar. He also shared his perspective on why Schwartz & Sandy’s failed at its Franklin Village location.
“It’s a tricky area to be in,” Tom Sandoval told Andy Cohen during the episode. “It’s not like West Hollywood that gets all the foot traffic. It was very hard to get that place going, I think it would have closed eventually.”
