Summer House couple Dara Levitan and KJ Dillard are sharing their honest thoughts about the Summer House Season 10 reunion, weeks after it filmed in NYC. In fact, the day was so emotional for the pair that they went on a trip together to unwind.
KJ appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, May 5, while Dara, his girlfriend, supported him from the audience. It was during the episode that Dara revealed details on their post-reunion getaway, sharing they hopped on a plane days later to go on vacation together. “We ran away after to Mexico for a little,” Dara said on WWHL on Tuesday. “That night, the both of us, we were crying and talking for hours and hours just going over everything.”
“We needed that,” KJ added.
“The emotional carnage was intense,” Andy Cohen agreed.

When Andy asked Dara what she thought of the reunion, which filmed on April 23, she was honest with her reply. “I was expecting a lot, and it was still even more than that,” Dara admitted on WWHL. “I think that as someone who’s so new to these relationships, there is so much hurt. And there was so much depth to it. And there were traumas and wounds that I didn’t even expect to come out that were expressed. And I really respect everyone [that] laid their hearts out on the line.”
Andy agreed with this. “Everyone really did. Including you, KJ, in a very significant way,” Andy said. “I really admired your contribution to the day.”
As for KJ, he revealed the text that West Wilson sent him after the filming, noting their friendship rift has been difficult on him: “It just hurts because me and him were so close.”

Dara took to social media in late April, where she gave a look inside the sweet vacation that she took with KJ. She first took to TikTok on April 25, where she revealed that they were in Tulum and showed off their fun outfits together. She then posted a video on April 27 expressing her appreciation for the things in her life as she walked on a beach, which included the “honest, kind man” in her life. “Luckiest girl in the world hallelujah,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
She also took to Instagram on April 26, where she posted a carousel of photos from the vacation. In the pictures, Dara can be seen standing in the water, sitting in a canoe with KJ, posing on the beach, and holding a piña colada in her hand. “Holiday in the sun,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Baecation,” KJ commented.
