The Valley’s Tom Schwartz Gives a Tour of His Townhouse

Tom Schwartz has gone through a lot since his divorce from Vanderpump Rules alum Katie Maloney and the closure of his bar with Tom Sandoval, Schwartz and Sandy’s. Now, he’s in a better place — figuratively and literally. The Valley Season 3 cast member gave BravoTV.com an exclusive tour of his new North Hollywood townhouse (watch above).

How to Watch

The Valley Season 3 airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock

“This is what sold me on the place,” Tom revealed as he stepped out onto his expansive rooftop patio. “This is my happy place.”

The space is furnished with a couch and large umbrella, as well as a built-in outdoor grill and refrigerator. Tom’s brother Burt also made a cameo on the rooftop, and Tom shared that he’s a regular visitor.

“Look how sick the view is up here,” Tom said as the camera revealed the spectacular mountain views. “Sunrises are like a religious experience up here.”

Inside Tom Schwartz’s in-home gym, which he calls the “therapy room”

The Valley newcomer dedicated a room to getting his physical — and mental — health in shape. During the tour, he took us inside the “therapy room, aka the gym,” and added, “I love it in here.”

The gym also contains a special spot for his dog, Gordo, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie (the two also co-parent Butters).

“This is Gordo’s little cubby hole,” Tom explained, as cameras showed the sweet pup lying on a blanket and dog bed in the closet. “He likes to feel safe and protected, so he loves lying under beds and little nooks and crannies and cubby holes. So, he stays in there while I work out.”

Tom Schwartz introduces us to his new “soulmate” pet, Hans

While showing off his kitchen, Tom revealed his tangerine koi fish named Hans.

“He felt fated. He’s maybe a soulmate,” Tom shared. “I went to a little pet shop that I’ve never been to off Beverly in West Hollywood to get dog treats. I saw him, and he looked so depressed. He was lying on the floor. He looked sullen. Down bad — [I’ve] been there before. I felt him, and he felt me. And, I had to get him.”

Also in Tom’s kitchen: a good luck cat figurine, which he bought on a trip to Tokyo. “It’s very special. The idea is once it’s bestowed good luck and prosperity onto you, you have to bring it back so someone else can use it,” he explained. “So, I do have to go back to Tokyo.”

Tom Schwartz reveals his podcast room that’s filled with “good luck charms”

Tom’s collection of good luck charms extends to his podcast room. “Podcasting is pretty much my favorite form of expression. I love podcasts,” Tom said. “I listen to like 30 of them, and I like making them too.”

The podcast room was complete with a cozy couch, lots of plants, and a bowl of agate gems.

“You’ll see lots of agates throughout the house because they remind me of my homeland, which is Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes,” Schwartz explained. “They’re lucky.”

Tom’s love of plants was on full display in his bedroom. “I like a little clutter, to be honest,” Tom admitted of his bedroom vibes. “It makes it feel lived in. Got lots of cool plants in here.”

The room also includes nods to his business ventures with Sandova, like a Schwartz and Sandy’s hat and a bottle of Toms’ Good Lovin’ whiskey.

“My bed’s really f—king cozy, oh my god. I love it in here,” he said. “I turn the AC down to like 67 at night. Antiques Roadshow, Gordo, [and] Butters. Hopefully, Kiana.”

Although Tom Schwartz and The Valley alum Jax Taylor were once neighbors, check out Jax’s “special” new home, as he gives an update on his life since moving out.
